Executive Summary
Introduction
Love Bites is determined to be the best provider of homemade chocolates
at value pricing and it will also serve as a place for business professionals to hold
meetings in a relaxed environment. Customers will enjoy the comfy environment
as well as homemade chocolates and free wireless internet. Love Bites expects to
catch the interest of a regular loyal customer base with its broad selection of
chocolate products like dark chocolates, white chocolates and milk chocolates.
Love Bites aims to offer its products at a competitive price to meet the demand of
the middle-to higher-income local market area residents and tourists.

Love Bites wants to establish a regular customer base, and will therefore
focus its business and marketing on local residents, which will be the dominant
target market. This will establish a healthy, consistent revenue base to ensure
stability of the business. High prominence and competitive products and service
are critical to capture this part of the market.

that emphasises on excellence and perfection by creating the finest and
the most indulgent chocolates with our spirit of innovation .

We are passionate about the art of chocolate-making and we are
continuously striving to create perfect premium chocolates that will put a
smile on our customers’ face. We will continue to use nothing but the finest
quality ingredients and implement strict operational procedures to ensure
that the chocolates produced are perfect.

We chose this kind of business for the celebration of Valentines Day.
We are awared that chocolate is the alltimefavourite of each one of
us. This is the appropriate food for those couples that are dating.

4. Product Description
Love Bites have developed different selection of chocolates
with various toppings and coatings. The estimated shelf life of this
product is up to 1 week on the shelf and 2-3 weeks when refrigerated.
It is made from a specially created mixture of chocolate that can be
bought plain, with nips, nuts sprinkles, or marshmallows.
We also decided to make the chocolate small in order to:
1. Create portion control
2. Not waste a lot in case they don’t like it
3. Be able to produce many
4. Avoid “umay” and/or “sawa”

2. Competition
Based on our research, Ralfe Gourmet Chocolate is one of our
greatest competitor. Ralfe Gourmet Chocolate is all about its founder,
RacquelChoa from Cebu, known as the Chocolate Queen of the Philippines
and determined to put the Philippines on the map as a cocoa nation. In her
“Chocolate House” in Cebu City, she not only roasts and grinds cocoa
beans but also ferments and dries them, after they arrive fresh from the
surrounding farms.

Sales and Marketing
A. Methods of Sale
Love Bites will have necessary permits needed to operate our
business. We will also have our business to draw attention to the
prospective customers. Our product comes with a selection of chocolates
like milk chocolate, dark chocolate, coated chocolate and many more. Our
product also offers more because our product is affordable, delicious and
we make sure that our ingredients are always fresh. We will also offer
promos that will benefits both our customer and our business. As for our
suppliers, we will make sure that we have an alternative one in case that
our main supplier does not have enough of our ingredients for making our
product, we can still have it through our alternative one. We will make sure
that we will be giving the wants and needs of our customers by having an
innovation in our product but can still be affordable.
B. Advertising and Promotion
To bring attention to our booth, we produced flyers that were
distributed to many students and stuck onto some walls of Lilyrose School in areas
that are commonly visited by people. We also conducted our survey to whoever
we would see in order to bring awareness of our upcoming booth. Our flyers
contain the dates of the event so they know when it is going to happen in advance.
We included a small amount of mini flyers that have a promo that if found, shall be

brought to the booth in exchange for a free piece. This will also push them to look
for more and hopefully go to our booth whether they find any or not.
C. Slogan
Our slogan is “delight in every bite” due to the fact that every piece
we make will bring delight and enjoyment. We are confident that they will be
satisfied by our chocolate even if the pieces that we make are small and bite sized.
Management
A. Ownership
Our booth is a corporation between the four entrepreneurs Renziel Althea M.
Motilla, Kate Addriane R. Perez, Daniela Marie E. Destor, and Sebastian A.
Malabanan. We brainstormed and put all of our ideas together to form our product
and management. Each of us has our own roles and responsibilities to attend to
and all decisions are approved together.
