Introduction
In new era of globalization, there are huge changes that happen in this world. The
technology is improved, the style of wearing clothes is different and many more. The
communication among human interaction also changed due to this alteration. As this change
happens, the new generation tend to have less communication verbally with others as they stick
to their gadgets all the time which lead to lack of good values on communication skill. In
education world, more mis-communication cases between college student and professors are
reported worldwide. This situation will produce a bad vibe between them and can cause awful
effects. It is important to avoided this mis-communication because it will be affected both
moral. Teachers or professors are some of the most influential people in the society and have
great importance in building a nation. Thus, “the college student should improve their
communication skill towards professors because communication skills are vital for a student’s
academic success and future career prospects” (Lucanus, 2017).
Problem Analysis
This problem occurs due to lack of good values and manners. As a college student,
they should know the proper way or manners to have a communication with the professor either
online or verbally. Besides, the college student also needs to respect the professors no matter
what is happening because she or he are older than them. Some of the professors maybe will
no take it as a problem but it still as a mannerless or rude. Other than that, “Good
communication enables students to assimilate more from the learning process by empowering
them to ask relevant questions and discuss doubts” (Lucanus, 2017). Thus, if the student is
playing around with asking nonsense question or being rude it will trigger some of the professor
angers.
In communication term between the college student and professor, the scope that
involved are the interaction in online platform such as email and personal message,
consultation meeting, in class session and outside of the class. All these scopes student should
aware the situation and need to speaks or communicates properly and more important with
manner. “Your instructors are not your friends. Correspond with them as if you’re in a
workplace, because you are.” (Peeves, 2014) More than that, nowadays college students
become mannerless due to the exposure of social problems. There are no boundaries in
accessing in the social media and they feel like become manner person is not relevant. Thus,
that is why this problem become serious issues.
Problem solution
As for the solution, student college must learn manner first on how to communicate to
the elders especially professors in education fields. College student must use proper and
professional correspondent when meeting or asking professor. Other than that, when get
criticize by the professor, college student must admit and accept it and bounce back with the
right thing. It is very normal when people doing mistake and get scolded because professor
also a human. They want to share and give student college the right thing because student
college is seeking knowledge. Thus, if an instructor takes a red pen and massacres your writing,
that’s a sign that they care. Giving negative feedback is hard work, so the red ink means that
we’re taking an interest in you and your future. Moreover, we know it’s going to make some
students angry at us. We do it anyway because we care enough about you to try to help you
become a stronger thinker and writer. “It’s counterintuitive but lots of red ink is probably a
sign that the instructor thinks you have a lot of potential” (Payton, 2020).
Next, if student college facing a trouble or get late to the class or submission of the
assignment. They need to explain properly and politely. This action is very crucial and will
teach student to have a manner and good value. “All professors will have their own individual
preferences about the following guidelines, so when in doubt, always, always, always ask your
professors about their communication preferences” (Zgoda, 2020). If college student met a
strict professor and not consider for mistake then accept the criticize and bounce back.
Relation with Thermodynamic
When there is a heated argument between lecturer and student, the energy changes of
lecturer-student binding as assume it is an isolated close system will disorder or unusable
energy. From thermodynamics point of view, based on the second law of thermodynamic it
concerns more on entropy. “It states that the entropy of an isolated system increases over time”.
(Shapley, 2012). A system cannot be ordered as the energy is not added since in this case is in
isolated system. Thus, to calculate the energy between the professor and college student, Gibb
free energy equation will be used.

Because the entropy change can't be used for work, the maximum efficiency for energy
conversion is the ratio of the change in the Gibb's free energy and the change in enthalpy,
G/ H. “The greater the entropy change and the higher the temperature, the lower is the
efficiency” (Shapley, 2012).

As for the phase diagram, if the college student and professor heat energy increased,
then the pressure will also increase thus the slope can be obtained by using the maxwell
relation. Briefly, if the heat exchange between the college student and professor were in closed
system the entropy and enthalpy can be different as the heat and work were exchange between
the system and environment.
Conclusion
Generally, as the world develops the student attitudes also change however it can be
avoided by learning the manners and common sense so that the communication or relation
between both of them can be better. It is also essential to have a good relationship with the
professor because he can be more comfortable while sharing knowledge to the college students.
Student need to aware at all situation and apply the good value when meeting or having a
discussion with the professor. If both of them have less heat argument energy, thus the pressure
between them also will be less. This theorical were taken to the thermodynamic point of view.
For instance, if the argument between them were assumed in closed system, it is possible that
other people can absorb the heat as other people are assume surrounding and the professor and
college student are the system. This problem can be settled down if college student realized
that respecting professor are very important because this good deed will be used in future
especially in working environment.
