Electronogram 1 - Hydropic dystrophy of parenchymal cells (Balloon Dystrophy) 1. Part of parenchyma cells 2. Changes in nuclei - Only part because of ultra picture . It is normal and unchanged. 3. Changes in cytoplasm - Accumulation of protein fluid due to expansion of sarcoplasmic reticulum - SR is expanded forming large vacuoles (very large) filled by protein fluid. 4. Changes in organelles - Mitochondrion are enlarged , abnormal , abnormal partly destroyed. Ribosome are decreased in size and number , compressed by vacuoles 5. Hydropic dystrophy of parenchymal cells (Balloon Dystrophy) Electronogram 2 - Fibrinoid degeneration of collagen fibres 1. Collagen fibres 2. - 4. Collagen fibres are swelled , partly destroyed due to deposition between them of masses of pathological protein - fibrinoid (Black) 5. Fibrinoid degeneration of collagen fibres Electronogram 3 - Amyloidosis of glomeruli 1. Part of glomerular filter 2. - 4. Deposits between endothelium and basement membrane of glomeruli are seen of amyloid. Depositions of pathological protein substance is observed between endothelium and basement membrane of bowman's capsule. Deposition is irregular. 5. Amyloidosis of glomeruli Electronogram 4 - Ischemia of myocardium ( Necrobiosis or pre necrotic stage ) 1. Part of myocardiocyte 2. Nuclei is not represented 3. Endoplasmic reticulum is expanded forming vacuoles filled by protein fluid ( Balloon / Hydropic Dystrophy ) . Also can be seen large lipid inclusions. 4. Mitochondrion are enlarged , abnormal , some of them partially destroyed , myofibrils are swelled beginning to rupture in disk. 5. Ischemia of myocardium ( Necrobiosis or pre necrotic stage ) Electronogram 5 - Emigration of leukocytes through the vessel wall in stage of exudation , inflammation . 1. Part of blood vessel 2. - 4. • Part A - Vessel wall , Segmented nuclear leukocytes are stick to the vessel wall inside lumen (margination of leukocytes) • Part B- Leukocytes are inside the wall between endothelium and basal membrane of blood vessel. This is called leukodiapedesis 5. Emigration of leukocytes through the vessel wall in stage of exudation , inflammation . Electronogram 6 - Hypertrophy of heart myocardium stage compensatory 1. Cardiomyocytes with mitochondrion and myofilaments 2. - 4. Mitochondrion are increased in number and size. 5. Hypertrophy of heart myocardium stage compensatory Electronogram 7 - Hypertrophy of heart myocardium stage decompensatory 1. Cardiomyocytes with mitochondrion , myofilaments and lipids 2. - 4. Mitochondrion changes include swelling , refraction and destruction of cristae . Structure of myocardium locally destroyed . Small lipid droplet seen near mitochondrion. 5. Hypertrophy of heart myocardium stage decompensatory Electronogram 8 - Cellular atypia 1. Cell 2. Nucleus is enlarged significantly , irregular, with 2 nucleases (polyploidy) , chromatin is placed on periphery , irregularly spreading. 3. Less amount of cytoplasm . Ratio nuclear : cytoplasm is 1:1 . Normally ratio is 1:6 or 1:4 . Nucleus cannot be more than 25% of cell. 4. Set of organelles is diļ¬erent in amount , content & size. 5. Cellular atypia (Ultrastructural atypia of tumor cell ) Electronogram 9 - Subacute / Membranous / Immune complexes glomerulus nephriti 1. Part of glomerular filter 2. - 4. Deposition of immune complex is seen on basal membrane of Bowman’s capsule . They are divided by processes . Basal membrane is rough . Podocytes have lost their pedicles (outgrowths). 5. Subacute / Membranous / Immune complexes glomerulus nephritis Electronogram 10 - Cropous pneumonia resolution stage ( 3-4 stage ) 1. Alveolar space ( space inside alveoli ) 2. - 4. Segmentary nucleo leukocytes which are in contact with fibrinose exudate poor by lysosomes (use them for resolution ) . Leukocytes far from exudates are rich by lysosomes . 3. Cropous pneumonia resolution stage ( 3-4 stage )
