Recipes with NutriniDrink
NutriniDrink is a high energy milk-tasting oral supplement. It can be taken
on its own or easily mixed into foods for more varieties and extra calories.
Here are a few ideas to get with the NutriniDrink.
Chocolate Milkshake (serves 1)
Smoothie (serves 2)
200ml Chocolate NutriniDrink
1 scoop vanilla or chocolate ice-cream depending on
how rich in flavour you want the milkshake
2 teaspoon chocolate flavoured milkshake powder
50ml milk
200ml Strawberry NutriniDrink
½ cup mixed berries
1 tablespoon honey
1 or ½ banana
150g berry yoghurt
• Blend together, serve in a tall glass
• Blend all ingredients together and serve chilled.
Optional: Add cinnamon, ice-cream, chocolate topping

Rocky Road Ice-cream (serves 2)
Fruity Tooty Ice-blocks (serves 4)
5 scoops of vanilla ice-cream, softened
½ cup marshmallows, chopped
½ cup chocolate buttons/melts
200ml chocolate NutriniDrink – chilled
Optional: 1 tablespoon chopped nuts, dried
strawberries/fruit
¼ sup plain/ Greek yoghurt
200ml vanilla NutriniDrink
2 teaspoon orange juice
4 teaspoon lemonade
1 cup frozen berries – pureed
¼ cup banana (1/2 banana) – mashed with ¼
teaspoon vanilla essence mixed through
• Soften ice-cream at room temperature 5-10mins, don’t
let it get runny
• Melt chocolate buttons in microwave, stir
• Mix melted chocolate through softened ice cream
• Stir through NutriniDrink and other ingredients –
marshmallows, nuts, and any dried fruit you would like
• Put back into ice-cream container and refreeze
• Stir all ingredients, put in moulds and freeze for 30mins

Mashed Potato/Kumara (serves 2)
Macaroni Cheese
1 medium potato
1 medium kumara
200ml Vanilla NutriniDrink
½ red onion, finely chopped and cook
½ cup tasty cheese, grated
1 teaspoon sea salt Pepper
Optional: peas, carrot, parsley, bacon
1 onion finely chopped
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon plain flour
1 teaspoon dry mustard
¼ cup milk
200ml Vanilla/ neutral NutriniDrink
Salt and pepper
½ cup grated tasty cheese
1-2 cups cooked macaroni elbows
Optional – bacon, frozen peas, carrot, zucchini
• Peel potato and kumara, wash, cut into small pieces
and cook until softened (pot or microwave)
• Drain any liquid used to cook potato and kumara
• Place potato and kumara in a pot on medium heat and
mash
• Add ingredients; Vanilla NutriniDrink, red onion, grated
cheese, sea salt, pepper and optional ingredients,
and stir
Tip: If this is too much for one meal before serving divide,
place ½ the amount into a clean container store in the
fridge and use within the same day.

• Melt butter in a saucepan. Add onion and cook until
clear, stir in flour and cook until frothy and add mustard
• Gradually add milk and NutriniDrink, stirring constantly
until sauce bubbles and thickens
• Remove from heat, season with salt and pepper to
taste
• Stir in ¼ cup of grated cheese
• Add macaroni, stirring to combine
• Pour mixture into an ovenproof dish
• Stir through some frozen peas, carrot, zucchini (if like)
• Sprinkle over the remaining cheese and some chopped
bacon (if like)
• Cook at 190°C for 20 minutes or until golden and
heated through

Chocolate Mud Cake (serves 1)
6 tablespoon flour
4 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoon cocoa
1 egg
7 tablespoon (105ml) Vanilla/Chocolate NutriniDrink
5 tablespoon chocolate chips
1 large coffee mug

Add dry ingredients to mug and mix well
Add egg and mix thoroughly
Pour in the NutriniDrink and mix well
Add chocolate chips, mix again
Put mug in microwave and cook for 3minutes at 1000
watts
• Cool a little and tip out on plate to serve

Boysenberry Porridge (serves 1)
200ml Strawberry NutriniDrink
1 cup boysenberries or mixed berries, defrosted
¼ cup Uncle Tobys Oats
• Put oats into a microwaveable bowl and add 200mL
Nutrinidrink, and stir to mix
• Microwave on HIGH for 90 seconds, stir and mash
defrosted berries through
• Cool before serving
Optional: sprinkle cinnamon, brown sugar, chocolate
