Mark David Romano March 9, 2021 G11 – St. Paul HGP 4 4 2 5 4 5 2 2 4 5 4 5 46 Interpretation: 46 - A STRONG LEVEL OF RESILIENCE. I agree with my results because I know to myself that I am able to devise innovative solutions to every complex problem that I encounter by defining a compelling vision of it which I think makes me a resilient person. GUIDE QUESTIONS: 1. What was the connection of the activity that we had last Friday to resilience? Did you participate in the activity? How did your group succeed or fail in the activity? If you failed, what could be done in order to succeed? If you succeeded, what are the other alternatives that you could suggest to finish the given task in a shorter span of time? What we had during the activity last Friday is the passing of crumpled paper to every people present in the meeting continuously and without interruption. The activity is related to resilience because it simply implied to us that we have to overcome every difficulty we are facing by finding a way to pass the paper in a short period of time. Personally speaking, I think we’re not able to succeed the activity because we didn’t finish it quickly as possible. In my opinion, just like what Ma’am Pajee said, we could have just shared what is written in our paper to the person next to us. 2. During the HGP # 7, you also answered two questions in Mentimeter, what did you realize when you answered and when you were reading the answers of the people from your group? What have you learned? During the HGP #7, I realized that I also received those word that are given by the people from my group in the mentimeter. Also, I realized that I am not the only one that receiving those harsh words so I must not be discouraged by it just like the other people in the meeting. Furthermore, I learned that we should always be careful with our words because every hurtful word that we said to others can only be forgiven but they will never be forgotten. Lastly, we should always think about the words we are saying to others because we know how it feels to hear words that are negative and damaging to us. 3. Basing from your results, what are the situations and/or events that made you resilient as an individual? Based on my results, the situations or events that made me a resilient as an individual is always connected to school. I have experienced many setbacks in life that mostly happens in school. From my responsibilities as a student, my grades, and school activities that I hardly able to accomplish . And other things that are too many to mention. 4. Cite 1 personal experience wherein your resilience was tested. Basing from the results table, how will you rate your resilience during that moment? From what I remember, the time that I almost lost my honor award in G7 which is always my goal ever since because I received 85 grade in one subject. I am very disappointed to myself because that award is only the thing that I can give back to my family’s effort for me, so what I did is I study harder to be able to make my grades higher and I am able to succeed in it. If I will rate my resilience that time, I will give a strong level of resiliency because I am able to turn setbacks into opportunities. 5. What do you consider as difficulties? Specify 5 of your difficulties and 5 solutions to overcome them. The things that I consider as difficulties is things that are hard to accomplish without the help of others or the things that I don’t understand why it is happening to me. a.
