It had a crazy board fence around it, which leaned inwards in places, and outward the rest of the time, not one board still stood straight up. Maybe they never did to begin with... Grass and weeds grew unwatched throughout the whole cemetery, in some areas they were nearly taller than the boys, clearly they hadn’t been cut in some time. The ground that covered the crumbling graves was sinking in, dragging the weather beaten gravestones beneath the surface. “Sacred to the memory of” was once painted on them, but it could no longer be read on most of them now, even if there had been light.
