Respected Sir,
I am writing this letter to inform you that I will no longer be able to continue pursuing my studies in
Chemical Engineering in your prestigious college. Studying at ABC College of Engineering was always my
dream but in order to fulfil that dream, I had to compromise with the subject that I opted for. Computer
Science was my area of interest but because of my ranking, I could not get a seat in it and therefore, I
chose Chemical Engineering as my subject in order to study at ABC College of Engineering.
In the couple of weeks, I have realized that I will not be able to do justice to myself and also to
engineering, if I will continue with Chemical Engineering. Therefore, I have decided to seek admission in
a college which can offer me my desired branch as I can no longer study a subject which does not
interest me and does not promise me a healthy future.
Because it is the start of the course, I could manage to get a seat at XYZ Engineering college. I would like
to request you to please issue me a College Transfer Certificate along with other documents that were
submitted at the time of the admission. I would be very thankful as you could take a quick action on this
issue as I am already running late for the admission.
