Montemayor, Erven John C. 20183233 Well project management is the way a person organizes and manages resources, tools and processes to successfully plan and execute projects that are necessary to complete a project or achieve goals and meet success criteria at a specified time. It has a start, an end, and goals. A project is work that has a specific objective that is to be completed within a set timeline, and upon completion, a product or service is created. So in short, Project management is about knowing exactly what your goals are, how you’re going to achieve them, what resources you’ll need, and how long it will take you to reach that specific goal. To apply project management to a school assignment, you would have to consider these five stages: Initiating the project, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, and Closing. In my case, it is important for me to clearly define what I want to accomplish with a school or university assignment. I need to know how to start or how to initiate these specific goals. I need to be able to identify what these assignments are needs to finish and what resources I need such like Search online academic resources for information. After I create the goals, I will now plan then to break the assignments down into tasks and subtasks with clear setting deadlines so I know what assignments are need to do first. Before starting or executing my assignments, I make sure that I have the right data and I will prepare it or just save the files for any planning software or in my storage folder. This can take time, but it’s crucial for me to begin as earlier as possible and much information as possible to have more options to take on. Then proceeding on the execution, I will now choose to collects and allocates the resources or materials and information available. When managing my assignments, I read through notes and information to find the most helpful and most applicable data to gather. After I input the details I need, I keep my tasks on a word documents and start to edit and follow the required format as for instructions. Moving on for monitoring, while tasks and deadlines are vital for me, things will not always work according to plan. In these moments, problems will arise and need to deal with these issues. Slow connections, hard computations, things will break, plans will change. This is my frustrating side of student-centered learning. But when I able to tackle these challenges or solve these problems, I can now able to monitor my progress and what are lack of information I need to updates the assignments. And for the final phase as I finalizing my output or closing the task which is the simplest and my easiest part. I will now look for corrections, I will check the grammars and I make sure that I’d really follow the required format before submitting the final output. And that’s what I come up or how I manage my school assignments applying project management. It is convenient for me to organize every factor because I can easily to set plans, gathers resources handy and information that makes me grow and learn, knowing the problems I need to solve and update and I can easily manage the time or the deadlines to finish or submit the final output in time.
