Lauren German in Lucifer
From 2016, Lauren German started
appearing with Tom Ellis in the Fox fantasy
comedy-drama Lucifer , as Detective Chloe
Decker/ Chloe Jane Decker. She plays the
role of an L.A.P.D homicide detective ,
partnering Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis)
while investigating a murder at the Luz
nightclub which Lucifer owned . Leaving hell
, Lucifer Morningstar retreats to Los
Angeles for a more exciting life . When the
murder of friend connects him with the
LAPD Detective Chloe Decker, Lucifer
becomes fascinated by the idea of
punishing criminals from above the hell by
the Devil himself. The two end up forming a
professional relationship as a detectiveconsultant using the diabolic power of
Devil. At first Chloe find herself annoyed but
falls in love with the fallen angel .
Lucifer was supposed to be wrapped up its
production on its fifth , but it continued . In
August 2021 the 5th season of the Netflix
collection was dropped and left up with
twist which makes certain the next season
is yet to come .
