Rationale:
Republic Act 11036 or the Philippine Mental Health Law seeks to establish
a
national
mental
health
policy
directed
towards
the
emotional,
psychological, and social well-being of the people.
Mental health calls everyone. When mental health is overlooked, it can
have detrimental effects on the individual and the community. According to
the World Health Organization's survey in 2016, 1 in 4 adults live with a mental
health disorder. One thousand and one hundred (1,100) college students die
by suicide each year, and unfortunately, suicide is the 2nd leading cause of
death for college students. But there is hope. Mental health problems are
common, BUT HELP IS AVAILABLE. A webinar on self will emanate through the
project's aim to lessen the suicidal tendencies of students due to depression
and other factors that may relate to the new environment of learning.
Personal development training provides unique growth opportunities that
go far beyond self-help books. Seminar participants get first-hand experience
with effective communication, goal setting, life coaching, leadership
development and improved confidence.
Happiness and well-being will shape one's life as we go through the
process. Lack of it will result in an unstable way of life, specifically targeting
the mental aspect of the individual.
Objectives:
The proposed project aims to:
 Help us uncover our blocks to happiness and fulfilment in life.
 Explore their attitudes and behaviour as well as their emotions.
 Feel more confident to talk about their mental health or emotions.
 Teach simple yet powerful tools to get to the root of your problems
 Provide a safe and empowering space for self-discovery, and
practising self-responsiveness

when it comes down to it,we procrastinate and make
excuses as to why we won't do it just yet. Motivation
works best when we really feel and understand the
benefit to us and it outweighs the comfortof staying
where we are. This workshop will help you identify your
personal preference to motivational pressures and
you will set a goal around increasing your motivation
in an area important to you.
Mind-Body Connection
Objective
Stress, anxiety and depression in our minds cause
physiological responses in our body.
This course will help you identify where in your body,
you are feeling physical indicators of stress or
anxiety. It will provide practical physical and mental
interventions that you can use to reduce the adverse
effects on your body.
