B. Scope of Work: - (In Detail)
A)Job Execution Procedure:1. Drain out the sump
2. Clean the sump by removing the mud from individual cell and common passage.
3. Dispatch the mud by dumper
4. Fill the sump by water
B)Tools and Tackles Required:1. . Shovel # 20 nos
2. Buckets for lifting the mud # 20 nos

C)Contractor#s Scope:
1.Contractor shall engage sufficient no of skilled manpower to complete the jobs with in stipulated time
frame.
2.All tools and tackles, cleaning hardware, required to carry out the job are in the contractor#s scope
including dewatering pumps.
3.Utmost care shall be taken by the contractor to ensure that workmanship of the jobs to be executed by him
shall be of high
standard.
4.After completion of the jobs, contractor shall clear all the muck / debris from working area and store them
at the designated
place.
5.Contractor shall strictly observe all the safety rules in force in the purchaser#s premises.
3.0 GENERAL TERMS :
Time is an essence of the contract, Job should be completed as per entire satisfaction with respect to quality/
time criteria of the jsw department in charge of UTILITY DEPARTMENT.
4.0 CONTRACT VALUE :
You shall be paid @ Rs.2,10,000/- (Rupees Two Lacs Ten Thousand only.) for Services for Jobs at plant
premises at Geetapuram site as directed by jsw Dept Incharge of UTILITY DEPARTMENT.
Service tax shall be paid extra.
5.0 PAYMENT TERMS :
Payment Break up:5.1.10 % amount will be released after each cell cleaning ( 10% X 6 Cells=60 % ).
5.2.30 % amount will be released after common passage cleaning.(Pump Pit)
5.3.10% amount will be released after removal of all the debris, mud from the site.
6.0 TAXES AND DUTIES :
Income Tax as applicable shall be deducted from your bills as per Income Tax Act, and necessary TDS
certificate shall be provided towards such deduction.
7.0 OTHERS :
7.1 You shall comply with all the Central,State Laws and Rules such as may apply at present or in future,
including various provisions in the Factories Act # 1948, The Contract Labour (Abolition & Regulation) Act
1970, The Payment of Wages Act - 1936, The Minimum Wages Act - 1948, The Employee Provident Fund Act #
1956, The Workmen Compensation Act - 1923 etc.
7.2 Any obligation, financial or otherwise, imposed under any statutory enactment rules and regulations
thereunder shall be the sole responsibility of the Contractor.
7.3 It has been clearly agreed upon between ourselves that any person employed by you directly or
otherwise shall be under your supervision and control and we are in no way connected or concerned with
them.
7.4 You shall take comprehensive & exhaustive Group Personal Accident Insurance Policy (under the relevant
legislations) from a reputed Insurance Company, insuring thereunder all your employees (present & future)
against all the possible risk (fatal or otherwise), which your employees may be subjected to during the course
of the employment with you at our site. You shall pay the regular premium thereof and keep the policy alive
during the subsistence of the contract.
7.5 Labour Licence or any other permissions(s) from any other authority(ies) if applicable will be obtained by
you upon executing this agreement.
7.6 You shall maintain appropriate Muster Roll, Attendance/Leave-Cum Wages registers, obtain valid Gate
Passes for your employees, make provision for paying wages to your employees within statutory dates and in
the presence of JISL designated representatives.
7.7 You shall have valid Employees Provident Fund Account Number in which you shall deposit the entire
amount of the monthly PF recoveries made from your employees# wages along with matching contributions
from the Contractor within statutory requirements/deadlines and shall periodically copies of receipted PF
Deposit challans with supporting statements as evidence of your complying under the PF Act.
7.8 You shall provide necessary training on safety and also provide necessary safety equipments at your own
cost and ensure that they observe all safety rules and regulations in the course of their work.
7.9 You shall not sub-contract whole or part of your above contractual obligations to any other party without
our written consent in this regard.
7.10 Contractor has confirmed having seen the place of work, Nature of job, Risk Involved and shall carry out
the work in accordance.
8.0 DAMAGES :
You should ensure that the job as per the scope of work(clause 2.0) is done on regular basis to the entire
satisfaction of our authorised engineer in charge. In case of Irregular or and /or unsatisfactory services,
deductions shall be levied and recovered from your bills, as decided by our engineer in charge from case to
case basis.
9.0 SAFETY & HOUSE KEEPING :
9.1 You should provide to your employees necessary safety equipments like Helmets, Safety Shoes etc. and
ensure that they observe all safety rules and regulations in the course of their work.
9.2 You shall ensure that personnel engaged by you shall maintain standards for house keeping as prevalent
at Employers working site.
The Contractor shall keep the site in a neat and workmanlike condition and shall daily clear away the muck,
rubbish, debris etc which are accumulated at site and dispose them off suitably at places specified by
Employer.
On the completion of works the Contractor shall clear away and remove from the site all constructional plant,
rubbish, debris and temporary Works of every kind and leave the whole of the site and works clean and in a
workmanlike condition to the satisfaction of the Employer. Rubbish and debris shall be disposed off by the
Contractor away from the site only at areas specified by the Employer . All other materials including
dismantled materials belonging to the Employer and `non-recoverable' scrap generated from materials
supplied by the Employer shall be transported and stacked by the Contractor at any place within the
Employer's site as directed by the Employer.
10.0 INDEMNITY :
You shall indemnify us against all losses, damages, adverse claims, litigations, charges, penalties which we
may be subjected to by reason of your part performance/ non-performance/delay in performance of any or
all of your contractual and/or Statutory obligations undertaken by you under this agreement.
11.0 CANCELLATION OF CONTRACT :
11.1 We shall be entitled at any time at our discretion to cancel the contract, owing to any cause, whatsoever.
11.2 Upon such termination, You shall not be entitled to any compensation, in addition to the work actually
performed by you up to such termination.
You are requested to return the duplicate copy of this Contract duly signed and stamped by your
authorized signatory as a token of your confirmation and acceptance of the above terms and
conditions..

If overall availability of Equipment is below 90% for 2 consecutive months for any areas,
contract will be terminated.
Schedule running Hrs of Equipment is 10 Hrs /day on daily basis but not limited For 30/31 days a
month. Equipment running hrs may vary as per production requirement.
Spare parts inventory log
In case of non-availability of Machine for more than 12 Hrs. Party to compensate the same
through manual cleaning by engaging any means i.e manpower/machine/day
SERVICE provide has to maintain adequate stock of spares & consumables. Monthly inventory
to be checked by JSW in charge & signed inventory log to be submitted along with monthly
billing.
PM checklist of Machine is also be part of monthly billing.
Equipment working inside our plant shall be NEW and with sufficient buffer. Adequate resources and
services must be arranged and maintained by the contractor to avoid losses due to machinery down
time. Equipment records to be maintained and provided to JSW at any point of time.
Vehicle records / logbooks are to be maintained as per the format issued by JSW and to be provided
at any point of time for verification.







Equipment working inside the plant and engaged in site work are required to have fitness
Certificate/ RTO passing if applicable and also required to have 100 % technical serviceability of all
safety equipment on board like
Reverse horn, front light, back light, reverse light, side indicator etcetera should be functional at all
point of time when equipment would be utilized.
Fully serviceable effective breaks.
Pollution test certificate if applicable.
Proper rear type flaps to prevent dust.
Equipment should be parked at designated area.
Contractor shall submit valid driver license with respect to light/heavy vehicle/Equipment before
deployment of manpower to JSW.

Material Lifting & Handling Equipment Operator qualifications: Operators of Material Lifting & Handling Equipment shall successfully complete a testing program that
meets country and/or site requirements. The testing program should consist of both a written test and an
operating test demonstrating proficiency in handling the specific type of Lifting & Material Handling
Equipment.
Medical Fitness:
Eye sight of persons operating or assisting operation of cranes, fork lift trucks etc. has been certified fit by
an ophthalmologist and examined once in every 12 months up to 45 years of age and once in 6 months
beyond 45 years of age. It is the requirement of respective State factories rules.as applicable. Physical
defects or emotional instability that could be a hazard to the operator or others may be cause for
disqualification.
