IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read and understand all instructions.
Follow all wamings and instructions marked on the product.
Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaner. Use a damp cloth for cleaning.
Do not use this product near water, for example, near a bath tub, wash bowl, kitchen sink, or laundry tub, in a wet basement,
Do not place this product on an unstable cart, stand, or table. The product may fall causing serious damage to the product.
Slots and openings in the cabinet and the back or bottom are provided for ventilation, to protect it from overheating, these openings must
not be blocked or covered. The openings should never be blocked by placing the product on the bed, sofa, rug or similar surtace. This
product should never be placed near or over a radiator or heat register. This product should not be placed in a built-in installation unless
proper ventilation is provided.
This product should be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label. lf you are not sure of the type of power
supply to your home, consult your dealer or local power company.
(lf provided with a grounded type attachment plug) This product is equipped with a three-wire grounding type plug, a plug having a third
(grounding) pin. This plug will only fil into a grounding type power outlet. This is a safety feature. lf you are unable to insert the plug
into the outlet, contact your electrician to replace your obsoleta outlet. Do not defeat the safety purposes of the grounding type plug.
(lf provided with a polarizad attachment plug) This product is equipped with a polarizad line plug (a plug having one blade wider than the
other). This plug will fit into the power outlet only one way. This is a safety feature. lf you are unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet try
reversing the plug. lf the plug should still not fil, contact your electrician to replace your obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the safety purposes of
the polarized plug.
Do not allow anything to rest on the power cord. Do not locate this product where the cord will be abused by persons walking on tt.
Do not overload wall outlets and extension cords as this can resutt in the risk of fire or electric shock.
Never push objects of any kind into this product through cabinet slots as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short out parts that
could result in a risk of fire or electric shock. Never spill liquid of any kind on the product.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble this product, but take it to a qualified serviceman when sorne seMce or repair work
is required. Opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltages or other risks. In corree! reassembly can cause electric
shock when the appliance is subsequentty used.
Unplug this product from the wall outlet and refer servicing to qualified seMce personnel under the following condiüons.
A. When the power supply cord or plug is damaged or frayed.
B. 11 liquid has been spilled into the product.
C. lf the product has been exposed to rain or water.
D. 11 the product does not operate nonmally by following the operating instructions. Adjust only those
controls, that are covered by the operating instructions because improper adjustment of other controls
may result in damage and will otten require extensiva work by a qualified technician to restore the product
to nonmal operation.
E. lf the product has been dropped or the cabinet has been damaged.
F. 11 the product exhibtts a distinct change in pertormance.
Avoid using a telephone (other than a cordless type) during an electrical storm. There may be a remole risk of electric
shock from lightning.
Do not use the telephone to reporta gas leak in the vicinity of the leak.
Never install telephone wiring during a lightning storm.
Never instan telephone jacks in wet locaoons unless the jack is specifically designad for wet locations.
Never touch uninsulated telephone wires or terminals unless the telephone line has been disconnected at the
network intertace.
Use cautlon when installing or modifying telephone lines. The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to
the presence of importan! operating and maintenance (seMcing) instructions in the literatura accompanying the product.. The installation
instructions provided with equipment intended to be locally powered over telecommunications wiring systems shall include all of the following.
A. The curren! limitations and rnaximum overcurrent protection for Level C circuits.
B. Reference to the specific power supply or current limiting device provided with the product and,
C. Detailed instructions showing the proper method of installation and connections to the
telecommunications wiring system.
To reduce the risk of tire or injury to persons, read and follow these instructions

Do not dispose of the battery(ies) in a fire. The cell may explode. Check with local codes for possible special
disposal instructions.
Do not open or mutllate the battery(ies). Released electrolyte is corrosiva and may cause damage to the eyes or skin.

Exercise care in handling batteries in order not to short the battery with conducting materials such as rings, bracelets,
and keys. The battery or conductor may overheat and cause burns.
Charge the battery(ies) provided with or identified for use with this product only in accordance with instructions
and limitaoons specified in this manual.
Observe proper polarity orientation between the battery(ies) and battery chargers.
Do not mix old and new batteries in this product (applies to products employing more than one user replaceable
secondary battery).
Do not mix batteries of different sizes or from different manufacturers in this product (applies to products employing
more than one user replaceable secondary battery).
