The above are just but a few development needs I need to work on as a student who would like to achieve higher

Task M3
Learning styles
In this assignment task, we are required to answer a questionnaire on a learning style, and in this case, we did the
VAK learning style. This learning style was used to identify the way a person develops through learning. A test or
rather questionnaire was filled and the results showed that a student such as myself has a Visual learning style.
Below is a screenshot of the VAK questionnaire that was used to help a learner identify the learning style

From the questionnaire, we have learned that there are three types of learning styles. The Visual, the Auditory, and
the Kinesthetic.
Somebody with a Visual learning style includes an inclination for seen or watched things, counting pictures, charts,
exhibits, shows, freebies, movies, flip-chart, and many others. These individuals will utilize expressions such as
‘show me’, ‘let’s have a look at that’ and will be best able to perform an unused errand after perusing the
enlightening or observing somebody else do it, to begin with. These are the individuals who will work from records
and composed headings and informational.
Somebody with an auditory learning fashion includes an inclination for the exchange of data through tuning in: to
the spoken word, of self or others, of sounds and commotions. These individuals will utilize expressions such as
‘tell me’, ‘let’s talk it over’ and will be best able to perform an unused errand after tuning in to enlightening from
a master. These are the individuals who are upbeat being given talked enlightening over the phone, and can keep
in mind all the words to tunes that they listen to!
Somebody with a Kinesthetic learning fashion contains an inclination for physical encounter - touching, feeling,
holding, doing, commonsense hands-on encounters. These individuals will utilize expressions such as ‘let me try’,
‘how do you feel?’ and will be best able to perform a modern errand by going ahead and attempting it out, learning
as they go. These are the individuals who like to explore, hands-on, and never see at the informational first!
After you know your favored learning style you get the sort of learning that best suits you. This empowers you to
select the sorts of learning that work best for you. There's no right or off-base learning fashion. The point is that
there are sorts of learning that are right for your claim favored learning style.

Personal Development Needs
In this assignment task, we are required to evaluate all the needs from the personal development plan and view
what we have achieved so far.
A personal development plan is a method that comprises of characterizing what is important to you, what you need
to realize, what strengths you as of now have that offer assistance to attain your objectives, and what you wish to
make strides and create with time.
In an earlier task, we created a personal development plan and sought to find out if we could complete any of the
plans that we had listed down. They included commitment, discipline, creativity, goal setting, and patience. These
are the values as a student aiming to higher education sought to be of great need as of the time and wanted to find
out if they will assist me in completing my assignments on time. In achieving the needs that were put down, a great
feeling came of it and it felt as if I had accomplished something in my academic strides and with that, I can
confidently say that I may have developed one way or another through this assignment.
I think that every person needs a personal development plan as it is helpful especially if you are aiming at achieving
something great in the academic field. Without one sure someone may achieve something however with a personal
development plan to help the person grow they may or will achieve more as they have a personal development plan
to follow strictly and to the core.
An explanation as to how these needs that have been listed above have helped me grow in my academic field will
be explained below.
Commitment: as a student, I was committed to learning more from my assignment and I aimed at finishing my
assignment on time. I aimed at being committed to my assignment and not to let other things distract me until I
knew that I was making progress in my assignment. This then helped me complete my assignments on time.
Discipline: discipline is a value that most people lack including myself as I cannot be disciplined in committing
myself to do what I want. However through my need of wanting to be more disciplined in my academic work, it
has helped me grow as a person and also helped me complete my assignments as without discipline I wouldn’t
have done much when it came to the assignment part.
Creativity: the assignment tasks required students to be rather creative and to avoid the use of reference material
for everything. In this case, as a student, I used creativity in all my assignments by trying to figure out ways of
doing the work more efficiently and effectively. Reference material was majorly used to give general ideas of what
to do in the assignment and not placed in the assignment.
Goal setting: as a student, I set a goal of completing m assignment. Generally, I am terrible at timekeeping and
keeping the goals I have set for myself however in this particular situation I have been able to set the goal and I
have accomplished it in the field of my assignments.
In general terms, the personal development plan has helped me grow as a student and I think adding more to the
list that is already there will be more beneficial to me as a student who wants to grow academically.
