Where can i or should i use simulations?
Spread of covid-19 inside a population in a confined space.
Entities- People inside that space.
Attributes- Movement of people (speed), Ro number, avg time in
recovery, mortality rate, the proportion of asymptomatic people,
reinfection rate.
State- position of all humans inside the space and their statusuninfected, infected and symptomatic, asymptomatic, recovered,
dead.
Event- how no. of infected people are increasing over a period of
time.
Designing(shape and size) of heat sink for electronic devices.
Entities- Heat sink, attached devices(electronic chips), external
fan.
Attributes- the material of heat sink, dimensions of the base plate,
speed and dimension of fan, temperature of the electronic
chip(s).
State- Temperature profile in the heat sink.
Event- Chip starts heating and heat is ejected in the surrounding
air through the heat sink, this surrounding air is transported away
with help of fan attached.
Car Driving simulator
Entities- Driver, car, road, other vehicles on the road, pedestrian
crossing, traffic lights.
Attributes- Speed of car, proximity from other vehicles, status of
traffic lights.

general traffic rules and not colliding into other vehicles.

Trajectory of objects in air or space.
Psychological experiments such as whether the increase in job
compensation leads to an increase in happiness.
Simulating causation of stock price fluctuation.
