Canadian Children’s History Book
Purpose:
You are to tell a story tracing the historical events that led to
the formation of the country we now call Canada.
Writer’s Role:
You will be writing as a famous children’s
author/illustrator.
Audience:
Your audience will be younger students in a Canadian
elementary school.
Form:
Your final product will be a simple children’s book with at
least 5 pages of text with pictures. The text should be
typed and pasted in the book. You may draw your
illustrations or you may use images from the computer.
