What is a noun?
Nouns are the name of people, animals, places and things. Everything
around us have a name. Nouns are also called naming word.
Who can name the indefinite articles we had learnt?
‘a’ and ‘an’
When do we use ‘an’?
If a noun word starts with vowels ‘a,e,i,o,u’ we use ‘an’ before the
word.
When do we use ‘a’?
If a noun word starts with a consonant, ‘a’ is
used before the word.
