12/12/2020, Luma Coffee External Ducting / Gutter Addition Background This project's main objective is to add 15 feet of 8 in stainless steel ducting to the east external wall, which will then be concealed in a ground to roof faux gutter constructed of sheet metal. This gutter will then be color matched to the existing exterior wall. This will be low profile and we believe will not detract from the historical profile of the building. The purpose of the ducting will be to vent hot exhaust from a coffee roaster which will be inside of the building. Scope The end result of this project will be the addition of a necessary piece of equipment for the coffee roasting process. This will allow Luma Coffee to become the first Coffee Roaster in the history of Hammond, Louisiana. We believe this project will add an element to downtown Hammond that will strongly encourage tourism and highlight the historical aesthetic of our beautiful downtown area. Project Budget - $3000 ($2000 materials/$1000 labor) Monitoring and Evaluation The project will be carried out by a licensed HVAC specialist and overseen by contractor Brandon Moskau of MOSKAU ORIGINAL CONSTRUCTION CONCEPTS LLC.
