ABSTRACT:
Soxhlet extraction is a solid liquid extraction process (leaching) .in our experiment we learned
how to extract oil from olive oil cake using hexane as a low boiling point solvent. We found that
the maximum amount of oil that can be extracted is 10% which can be extracted by applying 6
cycles of extraction and this considered as optimum number of cycles - applying more cycles
will just led to consume time without significant change in percent was extracted - . The
