"Mangilik el" is the National idea of Kazakhstan
In the “National Plan - 100 steps to implement five institutional reforms",
85 and 89 steps are devoted to the idea of Mangilik El in the form of a
task to create a draft Patriotic act and the task of introducing the values
of Mangilik El into existing school curricula.
President Nazarbayev announced the idea of Mangilik El in a rather
expanded version in his Address to the people of Kazakhstan "strategy"
Kazakhstan-2050". New political course of the established state" in
December 2012.

In his speech at the extraordinary Congress of the Nur Otan party, held on March 11, 2015,
on the eve of the presidential elections, the head of the country formulated the components
of his idea, linking it to issues of identity: "...it is necessary to further strengthen
Kazakhstan's identity. It should be based on the principle of citizenship. All citizens should
enjoy the same scope of rights, bear the same burden of responsibility, and have access to
equal opportunities. Consolidating values based on the idea of Mangilik El are civil
equality; hard work; honesty; the cult of scholarship and education; a secular country - a
country of tolerance. In this case, citizenship will be the most reliable foundation for a
stable and successful state."

It is the highest honor and responsibility for our generation to
create the history of the new Kazakhstan under the leadership of
Elbassy, The First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan,
Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Having united around Elbasy, we have passed a great way of
accomplishments and today we proudly call ourselves citizens of
Independent Kazakhstan - a strong and successful state.
Following the historical "Word of Independence" of Nursultan
Nazarbayev, we, people of Kazakhstan, are united in our desire to
create the Nation of the One Future - Mangilik El.
The basement of Mangilik El are simple, understandable and most
valuable truths: well-being of our families, hospitality and diligence,
stability, security and unity, confidence in the future.

Significance of idea
In the Address of the President of the Republic of
Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev to the people of
Kazakhstan "Kazakhstan's way – 2050: common
goal, common interests, common future", the
national Patriotic idea "Mangilik El"was put
forward. It was perceived by society as a system of
values that form Kazakhstan's identity and unity,
social harmony. Putting forward the idea of
"Mangilik El" as a unique model of national
harmony, its author and architect – Elbasy
Nursultan Nazarbayev laid the main directions for
the formation of a nation of a single future.
Conclusion
The idea of Mangilik El is an ideology based on the
goals and interests of the Kazakh nation and the
national idea of more than one hundred and thirty
Nations and nationalities living in our country.
Kazakhstan is a common homeland of all peoples
living on its territory, which
has become а single nationality. The unity of the
nation is the basis of prosperity, stability, renewal
and dynamic development of our country. In the
context of aggravation of humanitarian issues within
the framework of the global economic crisis, sociopolitical instability and growing contradictions
between different regions of the world, the unity of
the nation will provide good conditions for
strengthening the independent Kazakhstan, the
successful implementation of economic and social
progress.
