I am not a plant or an animal.
I come in many colours and
shapes.
I can feed on plants and
animals, dead or alive.
Sometimes, I can be eaten.
Other times, I am poisonous.
What am I ?

and animals into simpler
substances. These substances
become nutrients for the
plants in the soil.
Some bacteria can help in the
production of medicine.
