A Lifetime and a Day

EXT. CREEK- DAY
The scene of absolute calmness. Birds chirping in the
distance.
THE MAN lies motionless on the ground, his hand slackly
gripping a clump of grass. The stream of water flowing
nearby his body
INT. HOUSE- SOMETIME
We see THE WOMAN's head, resting on a pillow, THE MAN runs
his fingers through her hair. She wakes, turns around and
gives him a half smile.
EXT. CREEK- DAY:
Sunlight shines through the tree branches. THE MAN walks
aimlessly among the trees whilst out of breath. Suddenly he
stops, he pulls out his bag an object wrapped in cloth. He
uncovers it, IT'S A GUN.
BEGIN FLASHBACK:
MONTAGE:
INT. HOUSE- SOMETIME
1/ INT. HOUSE- SOMETIME
THE WOMAN puts on a music record. THE MAN and THE WOMAN
start slow dancing to the song. THE MUSIC CONTINUES TO PLAY
OVER THE MONTAGE
2/ INT. HOUSE- KITCHEN- SOMETIME
THE MAN AND WOMAN GOOFIND AROUND. THE MAN chasing the WOMAN
around the room.
3/ INT. HOUSE- SOMETIME
The MAN AND WOMAN GOOFING AROUND. THE WOMAN playfully
kicking THE MAN as the are sitting on the sofa
4/ INT. HOUSE- BEDROOM- SOMETIME
THE MAN gently kisses on THE WOMAN nose as they are laying.
5/ INT. DOCTOR CLINIC- SOMETIME
THE MAN hugs THE WOMAN as she cries in his arms upon
receiving news from the doctor.
6/ INT. HOUSE- BEDROOM- SOMETIME
THE WOMAN watches at the bottle of pills hesitantly. THE
MAN looks at her from the distance, he approached her and
kisses on her head. She leans her towards him and he wraps
his arm around her.
THE WOMAN reaches for the bottle of pills and takes it.
8/ INT. HOUSE- SOMETIME
THE MAN and WOMAN slow dancing to the SONG. THE WOMAN
begins slipping from THE MAN, he shakes her gently for
confirmation. Realizing she had fainted, he rushes to call
for emergency.
END FLASHBACK.
EXT. CREEK- DAY
THE MAN loads the gun. He hesitates as he pulls the gun up
to his head. Suddenly, he turns around as he hears music
playing in the distance.
ANOTHER PART OF THE CREEK- THE MAN'S POV
THE MAN sees THE WOMAN standing by the creek, she is
looking at the stream flowing. MUSIC is playing thou
unknown where.
THE WOMAN turns around and sees THE MAN, she gives him a
half smile and extends her arms towards him. He takes her
arms and they begin to slow dance.
CUT TO:
THE MAN dead by the creek, the gun next to him, blood
shatters where he lies.
