Importance of assignment in medical education • The principle aim is create teaching and learning opportunities to think and learn about ideas, topics, events, and questions about specific content in the curriculum. • To teach the student to work on his own responsibility. Importance of timely submission of assignments: The assignments when submitted on a timely basis have a great impact on the overall grades of the student. It can assign extra marks to the student. If the quality of assignment of a students writing is below average but have submitted it on time, he/she can attract good grade.
