1. The first program the FBI created was the Joint Terrorism Task Forces (JTTF) in 1980, which comprised highly skilled and trained agents and specialists investigating, detecting, prosecuting, and removing terrorists and dismantling terrorist organizations. Some other programs to prevent terrorism are The Terrorist Explosive Device Analytical Center (TEDAC), established in 2003 to receive, analyze, and exploit all terrorist devices, or IED's, of interest to the United States. The program gathers data and intelligence about different tactics, tools, and techniques that can help disarm or disrupt IED's and also link them to the makers and ultimately to prevent future attacks from occurring. Another program the FBI created was the Terrorist Screening Center (TSC), also established in 2003, which consolidated a watch list of identities suspected of terrorist acts. They then use the list to alert screening agencies in identifying known or suspected terrorists when attempting to obtain visas, board any aircraft, or enter the United States. 2. In my opinion, The joint task force is the most resourceful in combatting daily problems domestically. Still, the terrorist screening center and the terrorist explosive device analytical center are just as important because of the possible threat they could face. 3. The program that the FBI uses to combat domestic terrorism is Joint Terrorism Task Forces.
