Geometry Binder
Standards
Process
Students will be able to…
• Organize their work
• Evaluate their work and make corrections when necessary
• Demonstrate effective writing skills
Task Description and Criteria
You will construct your own Geometry Binder and organize it for the
semester. The binder must be 1 ½ “ wide. This will be an ongoing
assessment, and you will be adding things to the binder as we progress
into the semester. The guidelines for organizing your binder are written
below.
The binder must have dividers labeled with each of the following:
Notes
Homework (graded and corrected)
Review
Journal (reflections, goals, and self-evaluations)
For the homework section, you will be grading your own work with a
marker and writing in the correct answer. You will receive points for
redoing incorrect problems and correcting your mistakes.
For the Journal section, you will be writing reflections on your work and
evaluating your progress throughout the semester.
Since Geometry is cumulative, the binder should be used as a resource
for reflection, improvement, and to help you study for finals.
Your grade will be based on the following criteria:
