What to expect with each Unit 2 Quizzes Labs (some will be formal lab reports) Unit Project Test Evaluation Term Work • Quizzes & Tests • Activities/Lab Reports • Assignments/Unit Tasks 40% 30% 30% Missed Tests/Due Dates If you know that you will be away for some evaluation (due to an appointment or student activity), you must make arrangements with the teacher, before you are away, regarding completion of the evaluation. If you are legitimately, (unknowingly) absent for some evaluation, you will make arrangements with the teacher as soon as you return for completing the evaluation. • A parental note is required for the first missed test due to illness and a doctors note is required for all subsequent missed tests. A 10% grade reduction per day will be applied to late assignments/labs Cheating on a test, lab or assignment will result in a mark of ZERO. Plagiarism will also result in a mark of ZERO. If more time is required for an assignment a student may ask for an extension.
