Description of high pole lights
I. Overview
Lifting high-pole lights are widely used for large-area lighting in wide roads, overpasses,
squares, parking lots, car washes, ports, freight yards, train marshalling yards, airport
aprons and other places.

III. Structure
The lifting high pole lamp is composed of lamp panel (upper lamp), lamp pole, lifting
mechanism, electrical device, etc.
1. The lamp panel can be raised and lowered, which is convenient for maintenance
and repair. The lamp panel is made of high-quality steel plate. It is equipped with lamps,
light sources, ballasts, triggers, hook assemblies, wiring terminals, etc. The shape of the
lamp panel is determined according to user requirements.
2. The light pole is a multi-diamond cone-shaped pole formed at one time, the upper
end has a diagonal diameter of Ø220, and a total of 3 sections. The steel pole is formed by
rolling and pressing Q235 steel plate produced by Baosteel, and is tailor-welded by CO2
gas shielded welding to form a uniformly reduced tapered pole, and then plugged into the
entire light pole without horizontal welding. After hot-dip galvanizing the inner and outer
surfaces of the pole, the outer surface is sprayed with plastic.
There is an electric door at the bottom of the pole, which is equipped with a lifting
mechanism and electric devices. The edge of the electric door is welded with a door frame
to compensate for the decrease in strength after the pole body is opened. The electric door
cover is equipped with a waterproof guard ring to prevent rainwater infiltration. The top
of the pole is fixed with a pulley block, a travel switch, a hook device and a rain cover, a
lightning rod and a light pole are integrated.

3. The lifting mechanism is composed of motor, coupling, hoisting mechanism, etc.
Once the power is off, the lamp panel can be kept in an arbitrary state immediately, and it
has an emergency brake device to prevent the lamp panel from falling and the safety lock
function of the steel cable breakage to ensure safety. The hoisting mechanism is
composed of non-rotating galvanized steel wire rope, reel, worm gear reducer, gear,
auxiliary steel wire pulley block and other parts, which are safe and reliable in operation
and easy to operate.
A. Head: The head is fixed on the top of the rod in the form of tightening bolts. It is a
load-bearing guide assembly composed of multiple pieces of material distributed at 120
degrees, pulley blocks, and stainless steel shafts. It is connected to the lamp panel by
pulleys, stainless steel wire ropes, and there is a glass fiber reinforced plastic rain cover
and a lightning rod above the head. The lightning rod protects a 90-angle corner. B. Lamp
panel: The lamp panel consists of two semi-circular rings, which are connected by flanges.
There are three suspension feet distributed at 120 degrees on the periphery of the lamp
panel. The front end of the suspension feet is equipped with nylon guide wheels and
anti-collision rings. When the lamp panel is raised and lowered, the lamp panel is guided
to be in place correctly. Lamps installation boards such as those used for lamp installation.
C. Padlock system: The padlock system consists of two parts: one is a padlock box, which
is fixedly installed on the side of the head. The padlock box is made of steel and does not

require maintenance; the other part is a suspension mechanism, consisting of hanging
feet, two-way springs, pins, etc. Composition, installed on the hanging feet of the lamp
panel, which can be lowered to the ground with the lamp panel for easy inspection and
maintenance. With the lifting operation of the lamp panel, the padlock system can
smoothly complete the hanging and unhooking actions of the lamp panel. The attached
signal flap mechanism can clearly display the action and status of the hook. The entire

The external power single hoisting system consists of a worm gearbox, a reel, a stainless
steel wire rope, a rigging coupler and a rope stopper. The worm gearbox is fully enclosed,
and its lubrication is sufficient for the entire high rod The consumption during the
service life does not require maintenance. The input drive shaft is equipped with a
locking device for safe locking in the usual non-working state. The special rigging coupler
is used to connect the main steel cable of the hoist and the three auxiliary steel cables of
the suspension lamp panel. The rope stopper can ensure that the stainless steel wire rope
runs in the correct position to prevent frictional damage. It is equipped with an overload
reducer to ensure that there will be no rushing phenomenon. The lifting speed of the
lamp panel is 3.5m/min. When the lamp is repaired, only the small door of the lever can
be opened, and the remote control button can realize the lifting. The manual device can
be used for lifting when the power is off, which is convenient for maintenance. E. Power
drive: The power drive is a two-way, single-speed electric drive, which can be raised or
lowered, light weight, and simple operation. The driver must include an over-torque
protection device. During overload operation, the lifting cable will not break due to
excessive torsion by sliding to improve the safety of lifting.
4. The power supply part is installed on the electrical board in the lower part of the
light pole, including the power supply of the lamp group, the power supply of the motor
and the control power supply. The power cable (namely the main cable) of the lamp
group is connected to the four-terminal line bar on the electrical board. The lamp power
supply can be divided into three groups, and the clock control and light control are
selected by the S1-S3 switch. The rod is equipped with a control box.
5. Control system (as shown in the figure below, assembled as a whole, box type or
plate type hung in the light pole electrical door):
A. The lifting system is equipped with a travel switch dual protection circuit, and the
motor control system has the functions of leakage protection and overheating protection.
B. Lamp control has two modes: computer time control system and remote master control
system: (B1) The computer time control can achieve automatic control according to the

set program; (B2) The remote master control can select the control location manually
according to actual control requirements Remote control operation.
6. Lamps:
A. The lamp body and lamp cover are made of aluminum alloy die-casting, and the
surface is electrostatically sprayed, and the structure is light and corrosion-resistant. The
anti-corrosion performance of the lamp housing is class II; the protection class is IP65;
the anti-shock class is class I. Meet the requirements of "Lighting Safety Requirements and
Tests" (GB7000.1-7000.6).
B. The reflector is made of high-purity aluminum and is electrochemically polished
by anodic oxidation. It has the characteristics of stable optical performance and high
reflectivity.
C. The translucent cover is made of high-strength tempered glass, with high
temperature resistance above 200℃, high light transmittance and impact resistance.
D. The reflector, tempered glass cover and lamp holder are glued into a whole with
sealant to form an internal bubble exchange structure, which has good sealing
performance. The sealing ring can withstand high temperatures above 250 ℃, and the
sealing degree is IP66.
7. Light source:
High-power LED 250W, the chip and power supply are selected from the
well-known brand Philips..
IV. Other technical instructions:
1. The lamp panel can be lowered to the ground, and maintenance and repair can be
completed on the ground. 2. Use a special fully enclosed worm gear box, no need to add
lubricating oil during the entire service life, no maintenance. The worm power input
shaft is provided with a locking device for locking in the normally non-working state. 3.
The unique design of the padlock system is novel, hanging and unhooking smoothly, safe
and reliable. A signal flap is attached to the padlock mechanism to clearly display the
action and status of the hook, which is convenient for personnel to operate and at the
same time increases the safety of use. 4. Using remote control (also equipped with
manual lifting system), personnel can operate in a safe area, ensuring safety. 5. An anchor
pile is provided on the inner wall of the pole, equipped with a safety chain, which is used
for double safety protection when the lamp panel is in the hook state.
Installation of high pole lights
1. Lamp body installation
1. Take out the main pole body from the parts storage place and transport it to the
installation foundation side. The direction of the main pole axis depends on the installation
site. And ensure that there is a suitable position for the lifting vehicle to move between
the main pole and the nearest obstacle in its radial direction. It must be noted that when
the crane boom is fully extended, there should be no high-voltage lines over the range of
motion of 60% of the rated load and over the direction of the rod body. (As shown below)

2. At the main pole body ① where the small diameter end is about two meters away
from the top, use an iron horse frame with a suitable height to elevate the pole body ①,
and wedge the wedge-shaped wood on both sides of the contact point with the ground
along the circumference at the large end flange Piece. Remove the burrs generated during
transportation within two meters of the small end of the rod. (As shown below)
Note: In the above steps, make sure that the two bottom flange ribs with holes are in a
horizontal position.
3. With the help of lifting equipment, put the big end of the main rod ② (the zinc tumors
on the inner wall of the rod have been removed) onto the small end of the main rod ①.
And place the iron horse frame at the distance of 3 to 4m from the small end of the main
pole body ②, the height of which should make the main pole body ② coincide with the
main pole body ① axis. (As shown below)
Note: Try to keep the longitudinal welds of the ①# and ②# poles in the same
position.

4. Use armor removal, Φ20 steel wire rope, 5T hand chain hoist and perforated ribs to
insert them on the two sides of ②# and ①# rods. In the process of tightening, use a
12-pound hammer to hammer the connecting part of ①# rod and ②# rod. When
hammering, wooden boards must be lined on the hammering surface of the rod body.
When the length of the plug sleeve reaches the specified requirement (1.5 times the
large port diameter), use a 1.5-pound hand hammer to lightly hit the lifting joint and
listen to the sound to be a solid sound.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to form a whole with the remaining main rod inserts.
Must pay attention to: ⑴. When hitting the joint part, the hammer is not allowed to
hit the wire rope, and a safety cordon is set 3 meters away from the workplace to
prevent sudden accidents (such as wire rope breakage, hammer head removal, etc.).
(2) During the process of inserting the sleeve, it is necessary to constantly observe
whether the axis of the rod deviates from the original direction. If there is a deviation,
you should find and analyze the reason, adjust the tightness of the steel wire rope on
both sides, the height of the iron horse frame, and make corrections.
6. Insert 8# iron wire into the pole, and lead the cable and steel wire rope into the pole.
Fix the assembled pulley block with 6 M16×50 hexagonal bolts on the flange of the small
end of the rod body. During installation, three M16×40 hexagon bolts can be used to
adjust the pulley block components to be perpendicular to the axis of the rod. Use an
adjustable angle ruler for inspection.
7. Use 3-M10 hexagon bolts to fasten the lightning rod on the top of the pulley block.
Visually observe that it is parallel to the axis of the rod.
8. Clean the foundation anchor bolts and put in nuts. Remove debris and residual
concrete on the surface of the foundation.
9. When erecting the pole, buckle the wire rope for hoisting (diameter ≥ Φ20, the length
and weight of the rod body are determined by the crane lifting unit) through the loop at
3/4~3/5 of the full pole length from the bottom flange, and use a Φ20 The steel wire
rope is interconnected by the ribbed plate with holes in the bottom flange and the lifting
steel wire rope armour, and it is in a tensioned state. When lifting the pole, it needs to
rise slowly, taking the contact point between the bottom flange and the floor as the
fulcrum. Make the rod upright through the combined action of swinging arm, raising
arm, raising up, and swinging arm. During this process, no large sliding of the flange
along the floor is allowed. When the rod is basically upright, raise the rod slightly to
make the bottom flange about 200mm away from the floor. By swinging the arm, move
the rod body above the foundation anchor bolt, and penetrate the pre-applied power
supply into the bottom flange. The lifting crane puts the bottom flange into the
foundation anchor bolts through the combined actions of hooking, swinging arm, raising
arm, and lying arm. Make the boom basically perpendicular to the ground through the
boom out, retract, and swing action of the boom (without any serious tilt within the
visual perception range). Then, the hoisting crane unhook the wire rope, at this time the
staff must leave the pole 2 meters away. Swing and pull the preset rope to make the

lifting and load-bearing rope slide slowly to the pole door frame and take it off. (As
shown below)
10. Use the nut or wedge between the bottom flange and the foundation to adjust the
verticality between the rod body and the horizontal, and the standard value is within
3‰ of the full length. The measuring tool is theodolite. If an adjusting wedge iron is
used, an electric welding machine must be used to weld the wedge iron and the base
panel together. Weld the lightning protection wire from the foundation and the bottom
flange of the pole body together. The welding length shall not be less than 100mm.
11. Check the refueling condition of each part of the elevator, and pour gear box oil into
the worm gear box. Apply grease to the part of the open drive wheel. Connect the motor
power cord, close the triple high breaking rate air switch on the control panel, press the
button box button, and let the elevator run for 2 minutes without load. Discuss whether
there is any abnormal sound, and make the moving parts fully lubricated.
12. Assemble the lamp holder pole into a whole. In this way, insert the steel wire rope
and cable on the outside of the pole, and fix them with special steel wire rope clamps
and cable clamps respectively to prevent them from being pulled out.
13. Pass the main steel cable inside the pole into the hole on the side plate of the
elevator wheel, and press the outer pressure plate to fit it tightly. Start the elevator to
make the main steel cables neatly arranged on the wheel until the light stand is slightly
suspended on the bracket at a distance of 1.8m from the main pole to the ground.
14. Install the lamps and connect the wiring. Arrange the connecting wires neatly and
fasten them with cable ties. Adjust the level of the light stand.
15. Operate the manual button box according to the instructions of the high pole lamp,
and the operator must stay away from the pole body for more than 8m. Move the lamp
panel up to about 1 meter from the top of the pole and hang freely. Breaking triple
switch. Connect the waterproof and anti-loose plugs, test the power supply voltage and
phase sequence with a multimeter, insert the plugs accordingly, and then close the high
breaking rate air switches one by one. Observe whether the lighting sequence of the
light source matches the wiring phase sequence diagram.
16. Break each high breaking rate air switch. Unplug the waterproof plug. Close the
triple switch. Operate the button box, lower the lamp holder to the bracket of the lamp
holder, check whether the connection is loose or move, and correct it if there is any.
Fine-tune the level of the light stand again.
17. Repeat step 15 to hang the lamp holder on the suspension device at the upper end of
the lamp pole, reverse the elevator, and loosen the wire rope slightly.
18. After the installation is completed, the customer will accept the project, and the
situation after the acceptance will be recorded in the "Installation Project Acceptance

Form".
2. Introduction and installation of lifting device
1. The product design adopts a reasonable and optimized design, which has the
advantages of large lifting weight, small structure size, light weight, and convenient
installation and use.
2. The power transmission mode of the elevator adopts hybrid transmission under the
premise of ensuring transmission strength, rigidity and sufficient safety factor.
High-speed transmission adopts belt transmission (low transmission noise, good stability,
and super-torque protection performance). In order to ensure the self-locking
performance of the transmission, the high-speed transmission uses a worm gear and a
worm transmission mechanism with good self-locking performance to ensure that the
lamp panel can stay at any position without slipping when it is raised and lowered. Large
chain and sprocket are driven, and the transmission parts have good safety protection
devices.
3. The transmission lubrication of the lifting mechanism adopts closed lubrication, the
splash lubrication with good heat dissipation effect is adopted for the high-speed
transmission part, and the closed grease lubrication is adopted for the middle and low
speed parts, which has good lubrication effect and good heat dissipation.
4. The support of the drive shaft adopts tapered roller bearings in the parts with larger
axial load, and adopts roller bearings with higher safety factor in the parts with higher
radial force on the low-speed shaft. All bearings use bearing seats and boxes. The body is
connected and fixed to ensure the close fit between the bearing seat and the bearing, the
bearing and the box body, and the precision and reliability of the transmission. The steel
wire rope reel with heavy load is machined by integral precision steel casting without
welding seam, which greatly increases the strength and rigidity of the reel to ensure the
safety and reliability of transmission.
5. It has multiple sets of safety devices and emergency hand cranking devices with
adjustable over-torque clutches. The vertical motor lift is installed in the box, and the
horizontal motor lift is installed on the belt pulley. The spring pressure is adjusted
according to different lifting weights ( When working with over-torque, the motor runs
idly and the reel does not rotate).
A. There is a travel switch for the upper limit of the lamp panel. When the upper limit
of the lamp panel is exceeded, the power supply of the motor is turned off under the
action of the travel switch, and the motor stops working.
B. Equipped with worm gear self-locking mechanism, which can make the lamp panel
stay in any position without automatically sliding down.
C. When necessary, an emergency hand crank can be used to shake the worm to drive
the lamp panel up and down.
D. The double drum elevator has two separately connected main wire ropes. Once one
of the main wire ropes breaks, the other main wire rope still has enough safety factor to

ensure safe and normal operation. According to the requirements of the civil aviation
airport high-pole lighting design code, if a double-roller lift is used, the lamp panel does not
need to be equipped with a fall prevention device.

Installation
1. The installation of the elevator should ensure that the axis of the wire rope drum is
perpendicular to the axis of the shaft. The order of the wire ropes is neat and orderly and
must not be disrupted to avoid damage to the wire ropes.
2. After the wire rope is inserted into the threading hole on the drum, the set screw
must be tightened to compress the wire rope. When the lamp panel is lowered to the
bottom position, the wire rope on the drum should have no less than 3 safety loops.
3. There are two main steel wire ropes of the double-drum elevator, and the
connection between it and the distribution reel must be guaranteed:
A. The force of the two main steel wire ropes is equal during normal work.
B. When any one of the main wire ropes breaks, the other wire rope must be
connected to the wire breaker in a safe and reliable manner.
C. For the connection method of the main steel wire rope and the distribution
reel, please refer to the schematic diagram of the double drum lifting system.
4. When installing the gun drill for the pistol drill type (that is, the external gun drill
motor), the four mounting nuts must be tightened after the square body is correctly
installed. If it is found that the working drum of the gun drill motor is not working, the
pressing force of the over-torque device screw on the gun drill must be adjusted.
5. This machine has the following safety devices:
A. Adjustable super-torque clutch, the vertical motor lift is built-in, both on the
bevel gear of the worm shaft in the reduction box, and the horizontal motor
lift is external, that is, on the belt pulley outside the reduction box. To

increase the weight, when the lamp panel is close to the top, adjust the
torque limit value by adjusting the pressure of the screw on the clutch to the
spring. (When the torque is exceeded, the motor runs idly and the reel does
not rotate)
B. The limit switch of the lamp panel. The upper travel switch is fixed on the
support arm on the front of the box, and the travel switch is compressed
with the limit disc on the main wire rope to turn off the motor power.
C. This machine is equipped with a worm gear self-locking mechanism, which
can make the lamp panel stay in any position without automatically sliding
down.
6. When necessary, the machine can be used with a hand-cranked device (used
when the power is off and when the lamp panel is at the top), and rotate the
worm to drive the lifting drum to lift the lamp panel.
7. Check the flexibility of the elevator when the motor is not powered on.
(Whether it is flexible to rotate the elevator by hand)
8. Before use, add gear oil in the elevator until the oil level screw hole starts to
flow (the oil level is on the axis of the worm gear). The gears and worm gears
on the double drum must be lubricated with grease.
9. When an abnormal phenomenon is found during use, the work must be
stopped, and it can be used after troubleshooting.
10. Check the transmission parts (gears, shafts, bearings, seals) every other year,
and replace them if they are damaged.

The high-pole lighting lamp panel mechanical guide and anti-falling device are three
sets of 120℃ in the upper part of the lamp panel frame. Its guiding function is to use two
spring forces to tighten the rack sliding in the bearing through two rubber wheels Press
on the lamp pole to prevent the lamp panel from shaking under the action of wind load;
its anti-falling function is to connect the three auxiliary steel wire ropes of the lifting
lamp panel to the pawl of the anti-falling bracket. Once the steel wire rope is broken, it
will be The pawl is clamped to the rack equipped with the guide wheel, and the entire
lamp panel is clamped on the lamp pole by the taper of the lamp pole, so that the lamp
panel does not fall. The vertical landing distance of the lamp panel is related to the taper
of the lamp pole, generally within 3 meters.
There are three sets of mechanical anti-falling devices, and each set is fixed on the
frame of the lamp panel with 6 bolts equally at 120℃. Each anti-falling system is
composed of a fixed frame, a rack, a bearing, a fixed pin, a guide wheel, a pawl and a
large and small stainless steel spring (except for the standard parts, the surface is
galvanized).
Installation
1. The three sets of anti-falling frames must be fixed on the same plane and radius
of the lamp panel.
2. The mass distribution of lamp panels, lamps, electrical appliances, etc.
should be balanced and uniform. If the mass distribution is uneven, such as
unidirectional lighting, the counterweight should be evenly distributed, otherwise it is
not suitable for use.
3. The secondary steel wire rope of the lifting lamp panel should be
perpendicular to the plane of the lamp panel under stress. Excessive inclination of the
steel wire rope will cause the pawl to be caught in the tooth groove and the lamp panel
cannot be lowered. A certain pulley can be used to change the position of the secondary
wire rope to ensure that the wire rope and the lamp panel are vertical.
4. The radial position of the anti-drop device should be considered when the
lamp panel rises to the upper limit of the pole top, and there should be a 10MM gap
between the guide wheel and the lamp pole when the rack is fully extended. The spring
force can still be reduced when the lamp panel falls to the lower limit position. The guide
wheel is pressed on the light pole.
5. The sliding stroke of the rack of the anti-dropping device is 250MM, which means
half of the difference between the diameter of the pole at the upper limit of the lamp
panel and the diameter of the pole at the lower limit of the lamp panel when in use.
6. During installation, check whether the connection between the secondary wire
rope and the pawl is reliable, whether the nut is tightened, whether the bearing pin
circlip is complete, whether the bearing and guide wheel rotate flexibly, etc., and the
fault should be eliminated in time before use.

1. The pre-embedded anchor frame and flange in the foundation should be matched with
the base of the light pole and shall not be omitted;
2. Reference ground endurance is 12t/m. If it is less than this value, please design and
construct separately by the local design institute;
3. Concrete strength grade: above C20;
4. The foundation anchor bolt must be leveled with a level, and the level error is less
than 3‰;
5. Coat the threaded part of the anchor bolt with butter and wrap it with plastic tape
before casting;
6. PVC plastic pipe with diameter Φ89-100mm is selected for the embedded cable entry
pipe;
7. Φ8 round steel and 4# angle steel are welded into a whole for the introduction of
lightning protection. The lap length must not be less than 60mm; the length of the angle
steel must not be less than 1500mm. After hot-dip galvanizing, it is driven into the
bottom of the foundation pit before pouring the plain concrete; the entire foundation
adopts 2 pieces, arranged diagonally;
8. The grounding resistance is less than 4 ohms;
9. When the concrete strength reaches 90% of the design value, the light poles can be
pre-installed.
Use of high pole lights
1. Use the dedicated door key to open the door;
2. Operating regulations:
(1) Special warning: non-training qualified persons are not allowed to operate the
light stand up and down;
(2) When the light stand moves up and down, all personnel must be 8 meters away
from the light pole, and set eye-catching signs;
(3) Do not jam the button with foreign objects. Release the button when the lamp
holder rises to 3 meters from the top of the pole. Pay special attention to the sensitivity of
the button reset. If it cannot be reset instantly, cut off the power immediately; even after
pressing the button switch , Decrease first, check and confirm the reliability of reset
before rising;
(4) The closer the lamp holder is to the top, the shorter the inching duration will be.
When the lamp holder passes the connection point of the light pole, it must not be close to
the light pole;
(5) The light stand is not allowed to move people;
(6) Check the oil quantity of the worm gearbox and whether the gear is lubricated
before operation, otherwise it is not allowed to start
(7) A dedicated person conducts a lifting operation every year to inspect the hoist
and wire rope;
(8) The steel wire rope is replaced once every three years; every operation and
replacement must be recorded and archived.
3. The lamp panel rises and automatically hooks;
(1) Check whether the hoisting mechanism is normal;
(2) Close the triple switch to ON;

4. The lamp panel is lowered and automatically disconnected;

(2) Continue to jog K1. When the positioning axis rises to point G, the lamp panel
will turn left slightly;
(3) Continue to jog K1. When the positioning axis continues to rise and leave point G,
the positioning axis turns sharply to the left and then swings back horizontally. At this
time, jog K1 should be suspended; wait for the positioning axis to stop and stabilize at
point H After that, jog K2 to control the motor to reverse to make the positioning axis
drop to point I;
(4) Continue to jog K2, the positioning axis starts to turn left along the guide plate;
when the positioning axis moves to point J, the positioning axis turns from left to right;
(5) Continue to jog K2. When the positioning axis leaves point J, the positioning axis
shakes again; at this time, you should pause jog K2, and wait for the positioning axis to
stop shaking and stabilize, then the positioning axis will stop at point A, and the

Maintenance and repair of high pole lights

Due to the long-term wind and sun, rain and snow, the lift-type high pole lamp must
be regularly inspected by professionals for timely maintenance and maintenance to
increase its service life and ensure safe use. Operators wear work clothes and safety
helmets, and obey the dispatch of on-site command. The maintenance personnel of the
upper lamp panel must wear a safety belt and wear a long rope to prepare for the lack of
tools, which can be lifted and transported. No one is allowed to enter the range of 15
meters away from the pole.
1. Maintenance of transmission mechanism:
(1) Before connecting to the power supply, first check whether the power inlet
of the motor, the grounding wire and the electrical connection of the control
equipment are firm and reliable.
(2) After the lamp panel is dropped to the lower support, it can be overhauled,
and the grease should be removed first during overhaul. Lamp panel maintenance
content: A upper hanging ring, B lower support ring, C lamp panel surface aluminum
alloy plate edge should be properly tightened to ensure that the rivets fasten the
surface plate to the frame.
(3) Check whether the hook can automatically hang the lamp panel, check the
limit switch, lightning rod, and the pulley group under the rain cover.
(4) Check the cable connection of various electrical equipment: whether the
cables and junction boxes connected to each other are damaged, whether the
connection points of the power cables are in good contact, and whether the wiring is
loose, cracked, damaged, disconnected, etc. , Whether the electrical components are
loose, burned, short-circuited, etc.
(5) Check that the lock female buckle of the wire rope should not have defects
such as broken ends or loose sleeves. The wire rope itself should not have bias, loose
strands, broken wires, hard injuries, dents, corrosion, and obvious wear. Pay special
attention to the rope splitter and wire rope clamp. In order to prevent the steel wire
rope from rusting and reduce the wear between the steel wire rope and between the
steel wire rope and the drum and pulley, the anti-rust grease can be applied to the
steel wire rope with a hard brush.
(6) Check whether the worm gear teeth are worn or not, and whether the worm
shaft moves in the axial direction;
(7) Check the gears, couplings, whether there is abrasion, etc.;
(8) Check whether the fastening screws are loose;
(9) When the lubricating oil (grease) is too dirty, it should be replaced, and there
should be enough lubricating oil (grease) in the worm gear box, and it is strictly
forbidden to work with less or no oil (grease);
(10) Maintenance and inspection shall be carried out once every season, with
inspection as the main focus, and timely resolution of problems if problems are found,
parts should be replaced in time if they are severely worn or damaged;

2. Lamp maintenance
(1) Check the main cables and electrical components for short circuits, trauma
and other failures;
(2) Clean the internal and external dirt of the floodlight lamps and check
whether the bracket is rusted;
(3) Check the contact of the bulb and the porcelain socket, and check whether
the bulb is burnt or blackened;
(4) Check the ballast and trigger for dust accumulation, burnt or overheating.
3. Overhaul of transmission mechanism
(1) The overhaul is carried out once a year, and the wear and tear of worm gears,
worms, gears, bearing pulleys and shafts, as well as the running status of the motor,
should be fully checked;
(2) When there is a worn deep groove on the meshing surface of the pot wheel and
worm, it should be replaced;
(3) The wire rope should be replaced when there are partial broken wires (no more
than 3) or obvious wear or damage (the wire rope is replaced every three years). And
record the replacement time, personnel, materials, etc.
(4) When the inner and outer rings of the bearing are slightly corroded or cracked
seriously, they should be replaced;
(5) When the matching clearance between the shaft and the roller, the shaft and the
pulley and the bearing seat is greater than 0.5, they should be replaced as appropriate;
(6) If the motor has abnormal sound, excessive noise and vibration or insulation
damage, it should be repaired or replaced in case of leakage.
Precautions:
(1) When replacing the wire rope, no person shall bring the new wire rope up to
the top of the light pole along with the lamp panel. ①When the lamp panel is in the
suspended state, first change the main wire rope; ②When the lamp panel is lowered,
change the secondary wire rope, and connect the new rope to the lamp panel, tap
plate, reel, etc. firmly, and then the lifting operation can be performed after the
inspection is correct;
(2) If the user unit is unable to carry out overhaul, it can notify our company, and
our company can send someone to the site for overhaul.
