Inner Core:
 Solid Metal Ball
 6000°C / 10,832°F
Outer Core:
 A liquid made of molten(melted) nickel and iron
 Temperature ranges from 4400°C/7952°F to
6100°C/11012°F
Mantle:
 Temperature increases from 1600°C/2912°F to
2900°C/5252°F
 There is a solid, yet bendable (like a spoon) layer
called the Asthenosphere under the Lithosphere
 Convection Currents take place here
Crust:
 Crust under oceans is called Oceanic Crust
 Continental Crust forms the continents
 Lower crust and upper mantle are strong, hard, and
rigid and is called the Lithosphere
 Lithosphere is about 100km/62mi thick
 Oceanic crust is made of Basalt
 Continental Crust is made of Granite
