The Best Canon DSLR Camera Lenses for Various Types of Photography
Canon makes some great DSLR cameras and Canon users are very fortunate to have some great lenses
to match. Of course, all lenses are a compromise - there is no one perfect lens that will brilliantly
capture all types of photography. Kit lenses - the manufacturer's generalist lenses - are usually pretty
good in many styles, but they're not excellent at all. For example, a sports lens may not necessarily be
suitable for landscapes. And then cost is also a factor that can affect the image quality and ease of use of
the lens. Of course, Canon makes a number of different lenses for different DSLRs - both full frame and
crop frames. Canon users are in luck because their full frame lenses work with their crop frame cameras
too.
Landscape lenses
When it comes to landscape photography, a Canon user has a wide range of choices which is very
fortunate as landscape requires patience and the pursuit of perfection. The best landscape photography
is reminiscent of time and place and enables the viewer to interact with the image and its vastness and
level of detail. This means that the photographer must understand perspective and composition in order
for their image to tell the intended story. Very often the photographer has studied the scene well in
advance to make sure that all the conditions are just right. Hence, I suggest that the best Canon lenses
for landscape photographers are:
The Canon EF-S 10-18mm f / 4.5-5.6 IS STM lens is really good for architecture and landscapes. It's also
light and cheap, which makes it a really good starter lens for those looking to photograph the great
outdoors.
A good main lens is the Canon EF-S 24mm f / 2.8 STM lens. This is a super sharp lens and a really useful
lens to have in your pocket. There is some distortion but nothing that cannot be corrected in the editing
software.
I also really like the Rokinon FE14M-C 14mm F2.8 lens. At f8 it's super sharp and while some people
might have a hard time using a manual focus lens, it compliments all of the technology I have to work
with and makes me think more about the content of the image.
Sports lenses
Action and sports photography is about capturing the moment. Every second counts and you only have
one chance to get the shot. Practice makes perfect, of course, but a good fast lens will certainly help.
The Canon EF 70-200mm f / 2.8L IS II USM lens would be the first choice for almost any sports
photographer. This lens is great for critical areas - fast autofocus, razor sharp, and great in low light. It's
quite heavy, however, so you would probably go with a monopod. This L lens is designed for full frame
Canon, but is very suitable for crop frames. This additional length is up to 320 mm.
Another full frame lens is the Canon EF 100-400mm f / 4.5-5.6l IS II USM. This is a great lens to use in
good light and the image quality is excellent. This is a really good lens for wildlife photography especially
on a crop frame camera as the length reaches 640mm.
If you want to be the boss of action photography, consider the Sigma 150-600mm f / 5-6.3 DG OS HSM
sports lens. It looks like a bazooka and has about the same effect. Despite its weight of 3 kilograms, it
produces wonderfully sharp images and has a very fast autofocus.
Travel lenses
If you want to buy a decent travel lens, you need to think about more than just image quality. How big it
is and how versatile it is should also be your considerations. because if you want to take travel photos
you will ... travel, and if you don't have willing sherpas you will carry everything around you. Ideally, you
should think of two lenses. A quick prime and versatile walk-around zoom lens. The zoom lengths that
you should consider should be between 30 and 55mm, which is great for street photography,
architectural images, and landscapes. good friday images with quotes
One of the best Canon lenses currently available is the Canon EF 24-70mm f / 2.8L II USM lens. It's a
great fast lens that produces great pictures. It's also weatherproof, which is useful if you intend to
venture beyond the city limits.
