The Story - 1 is your opportunity to remind us why we needed to transform the HR function.
Take this opportunity to talk about how life was before we started the journey and why we
needed to change using the following questions :
• Why is this journey important to you?
• Why do you believe that HR had to transform?
• What has made this journey ‘ground-breaking’?
Your Story
• The way of doing business in Unilever is changing, so must be the HR. For so long time we have
done fire fighting, and never come to the big impact.
• While many international company move towards regional and global set up, to follow the business
case, HR has to transform itself in order to support business ambition. Step by step change will
not help. One surgery needed, although it is painful.
• This is first time ever we have the changes, globally at all aspect of HR and together with other
functions. I can understand the business case behind this and we have been too long complacent,
and need to start new initiatives: Diamond model
