Guidelines on Renewing your MV Registration:
REQUIREMENTS
1. Certificate of Registration (CR)
2. Official Receipt (OR) of Registration
3. Motor Vehicle Inspection Report (MVIR), approved by an LTO official
4. Compulsary Third-Party Liability Insurance (CTPL)
5. Certificate of Emission Compliance (CEC)
6. TIN
For-Hire Vehicles
7. Confirmation of Franchise from LTFRB
8. Motorized Tricycle Operator's Permit (for Tricycle Operators)
Diplomatic Vehicles
9. Endorsement from DFA
Other Exempted Vehicles
10. SBMA / CEZA Certificate, indicating that the vehicle is classified as
exempted.
PROCEDURE
1. Have your motor vehicle inspected by LTO for the approved MVIR.
2. Undergo emission testing and obtain CEC.
3. For operators of For-Hire, Diplomatic, & Other Exempted MV, secure the
additional documents listed.
4. Submit your appointment slip and all requirements to the LTO Evaluator.
5. Pay the Renewal fees at the LTO Cashier.
6. Get your accountable items from the Releasing Window.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS
1.
LTO will NOT entertain appointments made for purposes other than the PLAIN RENEWAL of Motor Vehicle registration. Miscellaneous
transactions (e.g. transfer of ownership, change in chassis / engine) will undergo normal processing.
2.
Please arrive at your selected LTO site at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time. Latecomers will not be entertained.
3.
In case of work suspension due to sudden circumtances, all appointments shall be accepted the next working day (during the same time slot).
The setting of appointments through the LTO Online PASS is a FREE PUBLIC SERVICE offered by the LTO.
