Omron H3DS-ML Multifunction Timer
Coil: works with 24-48VDC or 24-230VAC
Timing range: 0.1s to 120hr
Contacts: SPDT
Settings:
Time Multiplier ( )
Time base (X)
Mode (MODE)
Timing interval is (Time Multiplier) x (Time Base)
Connections:
A1 and A2: coil power
B1: Signal (trigger)
15: common contact terminal
16: NC contact terminal
18: NO contact terminal
Modes of Operation:
A: ON delay
Timing: Starts when trigger is pressed (or on power-up if A1 and B1 are shorted
together).
Contacts: Switch when timing finishes. Release when power is lost.
Further triggers: Ignored
B: Flicker OFF (recycling, OFF start)
Timing: Cycles start (OFF first) when trigger is pressed (or on power-up if A1 and
B1 are shorted together), continue until power is lost.
Contacts: Switched during ON time, released during OFF time
Further triggers: Ignored
B2: Flicker ON (recycling, ON start)
Timing: Cycles start (ON first) when trigger is pressed (or on power-up if A1 and
B1 are shorted together), continue until power is lost.
Contacts: Switched during ON time, released during OFF time
Further triggers: Ignored
C: ON/OFF delay (type 1)
Timing: ON timing starts when trigger is pressed (or on power-up if A1 and B1
are shorted together). OFF timing starts when trigger is released.
Contacts: Switched during ON timing. Released when timing finishes. Switched
during OFF time. Released when timing finished.
Further triggers: If trigger is pressed during OFF timing, ON timing starts.
Behavior continues as above.
Manufacturer information does not describe behavior if trigger is
released during ON time.
D: OFF delay
Timing: Starts when trigger is released.
Contacts: Switch when trigger is pressed (or on power-up if A1 and B1 are
shorted together). Release when timing finishes.
Further triggers: Pressing trigger during timing will stop and reset timer.
Behavior continues as above (contacts release when timing finishes)
E: Interval (Interval ON)
Timing: Starts when trigger is pressed (or on power-up if A1 and B1 are shorted
together).
Contacts: Switch when timing starts. Release when timing finishes.
Further triggers: Pressing trigger when timing is not active has the above
behavior. If trigger is pressed during timing, the timer resets, but does
not stop. Contacts release when timing finishes.
Note: holding trigger does not affect operation. This mode only registers
Low-to-High triggers (leading edge, rising edge)
G: ON/OFF delay (type 2)
Timing: ON timing starts when trigger is pressed (or on power-up if A1 and B1
are shorted together). OFF timing starts when trigger is released.
Contacts: Switch when ON timing finishes. Release when OFF timing finishes.
Further triggers: Releasing trigger during ON timing will start OFF timing.
Contacts switch immediately and release when OFF timing finishes.
Manufacturer information does not describe behavior if trigger is pressed
during OFF time.
J: One-shot output ON delay
Timing: Starts when trigger is pressed (or on power-up if A1 and B1 are shorted
together).
Contacts: Switch when timing finishes. Release after 1 (±0.6) second
Further triggers: pressing trigger during timing resets timer but does not stop it.
Contacts do not switch until timing finishes.
