What are the sociolects?
1 - Watch the video and study what is sociolect.
A sociolect is a specific variation of a language that is used by members of a
specific social class, it identifies members of that social class.
2 - Write examples of sociolects in the English language.
 Hierarchical Societies (high degree of difference between social classes, people
at the top of the Hierarchical Societies have very distinct sociolects);
 Flatter Societies (low degree of difference between social classes, the distinction
is not as clear).
