• Pollution is when something is added to the environment
that is harmful or poisonous to living things.
• Contamination of air, water, or soil by substances that
are harmful to the living organisms.
There are four main forms of pollution: air, water, noise ,plastic and
land.

• Most air pollution comes from burning fossil fuels. These
include coal, oil, and natural gas.
• Factories, electrical plants, and automobiles burn these
fuels for power.

• Littering, or tossing garbage on the ground, is a form of
land pollution.
• Litter is unpleasant to look at. It also can destroy the
habitats and homes of plants and animals.

• It is noise which is harmful to humans and animals.
• This includes the sound of vehicles, loud speakers and
factories.
• Noise pollution can cause ear problems or even
permanent deafness, especially to older people.

Plastic pollution is the accumulation (piling up) of plastic
products in the environment that affects wildlife habitats ,
or humans.
