Reassessment Opportunities
If you are unsatisfied with a quiz or test you have an
opportunity for reassessment. This is completed through
buy backs.
You can earn 1/3 point for each wrong answer. You must
handwrite the following:
1. Write one sentence explaining why you chose the
wrong answer (include the wrong answer in your
sentence). I’d like to know whether you got it wrong
because…
o you truly believed your answer was right – and
why you thought it was right
o you narrowed it to two and guessed wrong, or
o you didn’t know at all and just guessed.
2. Write out why the correct answer is right (include the
right answer in your sentence and relate it to what we
did in class or reference your homework or the book).
These should be done after school on a Wednesday or
Thursday in Mrs. Poole’s classroom or within a week of
Mrs. Poole returning the assessment.
