Vacation Home Website or Brochure Project
ISQS Grade 10 ESL - Total: ____/65
For this final project you will create a vacation home website or brochure.
Pretend you are a landlord of a vacation home and are creating a
promotional website or brochure to advertise your space. You may use
www.wix.com to create your website, or you may use Microsoft Publisher or
Powerpoint or iOS Pages or Keynote to create a fake website or
informational brochure. You may work in partners.

A main page is the the introductory page of a website that usually acts as a
table of contents for the site. On this page you should have access to the
basic information that is found on your site.
The main page should have an introductory paragraph giving basic
information about the house, the rental cost, location and local amenities.
Choose a design that best fits your needs; photographs personalizes and
adds a nice touch to your website.

The home page should have a paragraph describing the vacation home,
the available rooms and features such as: number of bedrooms, number of
bathrooms and amenities, kitchen amenities, outdoor landscaping and
amenities.
You should include at least 3 pictures of the home and property. You may
take photos from the internet.

Give information in a paragraph about the local area where the vacation
house is located. This page should give information about local
restaurants, attractions and nature. I suggest you choose a real town to
locate your fake vacation home. You can research information about the
real town to help you. You should find real website to at least one real
restaurant, one real attraction and one real nature sight to include on this
page. You should include a picture for each link.

Create a page with at least 3 questions from customers about your
vacation home. Also write the answer you would give to the question. Use
your ppt from Units 1 and 2 to help you with ideas for questions.

there from a travel centre such as an airport or train station.
