Senior Speech Planning Sheet-Pecha Kucha Format

Senior Speech Planning Sheet
DUE Monday, 5/13 - 100 points
Directions: Since we are using the Pecha Kucha format, you will need 20 slides to
accompany your speech. You will show each slide for exactly 20 seconds while you
discuss the experience or idea it represents. That is a total of a little less than 7
minutes for your entire presentation. Attached are 20 blank slides for planning
purposes. Inside of each slide, write down what image you will be using for that slide,
then write your talking points for that slide in the blank space below.
What is PechaKucha?
PechaKucha’s 20x20 presentation format shows your 20 chosen images, each for 20
seconds. In other words, you've got 400 seconds to tell your story, with visuals guiding
the way. PechaKucha means "chit chat" in Japanese. This creative outlet began as
nighttime get-togethers in Tokyo in 2003 by two renowned architects. Since then, three
million people have attended PechaKucha events worldwide.
