In the movie Some like it Hot, my favorite scene occurs when Jerry is serious about accepting and sticking the to his role as a female called (Daphne) regardless of the gender barrier when he announces to Joe about accepting Mr. Osgood proposes marriage. Wilder presents a very progressive scene with Osgood not worried about the reasons of why he cannot marry Daphne. The movie seems surreal at times, but the conversations are appropriate. I like this movie because the gags were accepted at that time, and are still relevant for in today’s society. It’s funny how obvious Daphne just wants the marriage for an alimony check, but Osgood accepts the gender differences in the audacious scene tying the end with the famous line “Well, nobody’s perfect.” Gullible
