As we stand, let us pray the prayer appointed for today.
Almighty God, We are often tossed up and down by the storms of life: and at
such times we get afraid and anxious. May we be awake to the fact that your
divine hand is in control. Therefore, trusting in your power that is at work
within us, we release all our cares and anxieties to you and ask for inner
refreshment and peace that passes all understanding, to reign in our hearts
always. Amen
