Introduction
Project: CONSTRUCTION OF 3 NEW SCHOOLS
The Sites are located at Al Kharatiyat and Al Ghouwariya, State of Qatar as indicated
on the site location plans.
The Works comprises construction, completion and maintenance of Three (3) New
Schools as follows:

Synopsis:
Due to the delay of receiving the original contract documents by 181 Calendar Days
from the project commencement date, this delay impact our progress to proceed with
many activities such as the Woqod agreement for fuel diesel, Labor visas,
Subcontracting agreements and land lease

Facts:
 Contractor received the original contract documents on 12th October 2014

 The Project commencement date 15th April 2014

 Woqod requested the original contract document to provide diesel

 Contractor was not able to obtain necessary visas without the original contract

Impact Analysis:
Based on the above, we modelled this delay to the project schedule baseline which
impact delay of first activity of excavation which was planned to start on 22nd May 2014
while it was supposed to start on 13th October 2014 if the contractor was suspend the
work, nevertheless the contractor has taken necessary arrangement on his own cost to
proceed with the work but with slow down productivity

CONTRACTUAL BASIS :
 Reference to The contract Agreement , Contract No. : C2014/51 the agreement made the : 15
day of April 2014 AD, However the Contract Document Received on 12th October 2014
 Contractor raise his concern to the Employer to receive the Contract Documents on XXXXX Ref.
xxxx and highlights the impact of non receiving the original contract documents
 Employer reply on XXXX Ref.: XXXX with xxxxx Which proof that either the required Contract
Document or workaround solution is required to allow the contractor to proceed with critical
aspects to work with full capacity and projected productivity limit

Conclusion:
Based on the above, the contractor was impacted with this delay, However this delay
considered Excusable Non Compensable and the contractor merge the case with the
other delaying factors as per the overall conclusion
