We often see gays as happy people because they like to goof around most of the time, they are light and
fun to be with so we tend to take them for granted at all times. But behind all the smiles, laughs, and jokes
they share, the make-up and costumes they put on, is a person caged in the judgment and criticism of
society. In fact, the line ‘’ gusto mo lang siya kasi tingin mo wala nang magmamahal sayo’’ from the movie
struck me most because I wasn’t that aware how much they yearn for love and acceptance they cannot
even receive from their own family.
In this world full of imperfections, we do not have the right to judge other people as we are not perfect
ourselves, rather we should help one another and fill each other’s gaps so we can make a better world for
us where love and peace reigns above all. We just all want to be happy so why not just let them be?
Because after all, we only have one life to live so let’s make the best out of it and find happiness in every
way we can without having to hurt other people in the process.
