Strengths
•Location of University Belt
•Has access to national roads
•Rich cultural heritage sites
•Population is mostly transient (mostly students)
•Railways (LRT-1 and LRT-2)
•It surrounded by commercial establishments, dormitories and review centers
•Gateway to Quezon City and San Juan City
•Near Malacañan Palace
Weaknesses
•Improper waste disposal along esteros, creeks and canals which causes clogging of drainage system and
flooding.
•High-congestive traffic (both humans and vehicles)
•Flood Prone area
•Poor roads and lack of parking spaces
•Inadequate street lightings and signage
Opportunities
•Clearing of drainage systems to lessen the flood rate in U-Belt and/or redesign of drainage systems so
that it would hold-up more rainwater.
•Bicycle lanes and pedestrian walkways
•Enhancement of tourist attractions such as heritage sites
•Placement of support parking spaces like lifts
•Road improvement and maintenance
