It’s like a wakeup call to everyone that illness can never hinder someone from getting what he really wants in life. This world is surrounded by millions of people, not all experiences perfection in life. Some may suffer from illness, disabilities and whatnots but it doesn’t mean that, that someone is less of a person. As an aspiring teacher, the movie touched my heart in so many ways. It gave me an impact that I can never forget, and that is to never treat students who have special needs badly. As a teacher, it is my duty to be the bridge of the students with or without illness to become successful in life. Moreover, the movie made me realize that you can only consider yourself a good teacher, when you treat your students unequally. This may sound negative since the “unequal” word carry a negative meaning, but truly I believe that as a teacher, it is best to know what’s really the need of that specific student. I should give the appropriate attention of the students not just for the sake of equality. Every student, especially with the ones who have special needs, have different necessities in life and I should attend to that differently. With this, I know that myself has been put into use and I couldn’t wait for the day where I can see my students crowned with laurels of success.
