Today is a painful day for Emily. Her parents are taking her to
the dentist and she is scared. She has never visited the dentist.
Emily had heard terrifying things about the dentist.
Emily and her parents enters the dentist’s office. Her eyes are
all around the room, looking at the grey blinds, mouth mirrors
and little sharp tools on a table. The dentist tells Emily not to be
afraid and gives her a reassuring smile. She then felt at ease.
Emily opens her mouth as he uses a mouth mirror to check her
tooth. The dentist smiles again and tells Emily to relax. He tells
her that she is getting a new tooth because she is becoming a
big girl. The dentist gives her medicine for the pain. She is glad
that she had visited the dentist.
