Anatomy & Physiology TISSUE FLIP BOOK PROJECT DUE: Oct 2nd , 2014 Instructions: Design a tissue flip book that will illustrate and include the following: I. Divide your flip book into FOUR sections: 1) Title/cover page 2) Connective tissue 3) Epithelial Tissue and 4) Muscular tissue 1) DO NOT LOSE THIS SHEET. It will be your grade sheet for this project. Do not bind it with the other sheets in your flipbook. Your instructor will collect it separately. 2) Title/cover page – Must include name of book, your name, class, period. A hand drawn/colored illustration should be included that represents tissues. 3) Below is a half-page example of a layout. You can get two tissues on a 8x11 page by dividing it in half. NO DRAWING ON THE BACK, FRONT OF THE PAPER ONLY. 4) Connective tissue and Epithelial tissue – use pages 76-89 to view tissue drawings. (Bone tissue is on page 117.) For each tissue type include a hand drawn example, which must be colored and labeled. Below the drawing give the name, type, function and location of the tissue. 5) Muscle tissue – use page 176 (skeletal), pg. 187 (smooth), pg 366 (cardiac) to view the three types of muscle tissue. For each tissue type include a hand drawn example, which must be colored and labeled. Below the drawing include the function of the tissue and the location of the tissue. II. Example Labels Along The Edges Drawing Here Must be colored and exhibit clarity (similar to diagram in text). Details should be included. You must use a ruler when drawing straight edges.
