The impact of gadgets use – Positive – Negative PROBLEM STATEMENT • Parents have been using gadgets and application in the gadgets to educate their children. This will cause the child to be addict to the gadgets use. • The use of gadgets among children will lead to negative outcomes in term of children’s health as well as their cognitive and social development. • Parents need to observe the use of the gadgets and not to expose the child to the gadgets at a very young age. • Rigorous use will deteriorate language development, reading skill, memory, and concentration. • Uncontrolled use will impair the family and social relationship as well as leading to both physical and mental illnesses. OBJECTIVES The objectives of this study are as below : 1. To study the impacts of the addictive use of the gadgets on mental, social and physical health and lifestyle. 2. To determine the effects and the factors of the gadgets on the children. 3. To examine the time spent by the children with their gadgets.
