Every OR table purchase is an investment in your hospital’s future. To maximize the value of your investment,
it’s important to choose a table that’s flexible enough for
universal use in evolving procedures, and stable enough
to support a population that’s growing taller and heavier.
Maquet Meera is designed with the future in mind, and
is ready to meet the needs of patients and staff for years
to come.

Improving comfort
for patients and staff
Intelligent features enhance
the surgical experience
Built for what’s important: patient safety
When it comes to safety in the hospital, prevention is critical. But nowhere are
patients and staff more at risk than in the OR. Maquet Meera fills the “safety
gap”, protecting patients from infections and pressure-related complications,
while protecting staff from injuries caused by physical strain.
Patient positioning
Maquet Meera has been built to
minimize risks to patients. Proper
positioning can improve patient outcomes. A maximum Trendelenburg /
tilt combination may have a positive
impact on patient safety by allowing
gravity to move organs naturally,
without additional trauma.
6
Pressure ulcer management
SFC (soft foam core) cusions keep
patients safe and comfortable. The
cushions include a special double
layer of padding that improves weight
distribution to minimize the risk of
pressure ulcers. The SFC cushions
also help to protect against compli
cations from perioperative hypo
thermia, reflecting body heat and
keeping patients warm.
Hand control simplifies setup
Focus on the patient, not on the table.
Available in either an IR or cable
version, the hand control allows users
to quickly and efficiently set up the
table for the next procedure.
The display shows precise, easily
documentable angles to ensure that
the table is positioned exactly as
needed. Common positions, like
beach chair, are already predefined.
An additional 10 frequently used
positions can be stored and recalled
with the push of a button, reducing
setup time.

Easy setup and use for surgical staff
No time is wasted setting up Maquet Meera. Easy Click
Components make it simple to configure the table as
needed. And the Autodrive Function helps staff to easily
transport patients, maneuvering and positioning the
table without physical strain.
Enhancing efficiency to optimize workflow
The OR is the most expensive department in the hospital.
An optimized setup and transition time between procedures can allow hospitals to treat more patients more
efficiently. Maquet Meera was designed to simplify setup,
optimizing workflow to improve the overall efficiency of
the OR.
lmproving transport ergonomics
Moving a heavy surgical table can take a toll an OR staff.
Maquet Meera has been designed to reduce the risk of
strain-related injuries.
Four double-swivel castors allow the table to move in
any direction as needed, while locking securely when in
use. The Autodrive Function with speed control helps to
easily maneuver the table through corridors or within the
OR itself. An optional Sensor Drive lets staff move the
table with just one hand. Release the handle and the table
automatically stops to protect patients from rolling
momentum.
Optimal ergonomic access and
hygienic conditions
The flexible height adjustment of Maquet Meera has a
positive impact on ergonomics, wether surgeons prefer
to sit or stand. The slim concave base, combined with
the smart design of the column and table top gives good
access to the table and the patient for better comfort
and reduced positional strain.
A stainless steel base and smooth surfaces are hygienic,
easy to clean, and durable to prevent complications from
cross-contamination.
