Peer Review for Annotated Bibliography and Rough IRP Outline
Task: Use this worksheet to give your partner feedback on his/her annotated bibliography and rough IRP
outline first draft.
Remember, your feedback should be…
1. Polite
2. Specific
3. Constructive
Does the AB have at least two sources?
Was each source properly cited? Note
missing/incorrect parts.
Is there a summary of each source? Can you
understand the main arguments of the source
from the summary?
Is there a relevancy statement for each source?
Can you clearly see how it is relevant to your
partner’s IRP?
Did s/he state in which part of the IRP this
source will be used?
Is there a reliability statement? Do you agree
that both (or all) of the sources are reliable?
Is the annotated bibliography organized well?
Are there subheadings that indicate the
function of each paragraph?
Are the summary, relevancy and reliability
statements within the allowed sentence limit?
Are there any formatting issues? (Font, size,
spacing etc.)
Is the file named correctly?
Is the language clear and concise throughout?
Is the tone academic? Note any parts that you
think are not.

Rough IRP Outline
Does the introduction have…

b. Background information about
the issue?
c. A thesis statement?
Does the thesis statement clearly indicate the
purpose of the article?
Are there at least two solutions in the outline?
Is there a clear description of each solution?
Note any parts that are not clear to you.
Is there a critique of each solution that includes
both strengths and weaknesses of the
solution?
Is there at least one suggestion for
improvement for each solution? Is the
suggestion detailed enough? Does it give you a
clear idea of what is being suggested?
Are the sources used in the annotated
bibliography part of the outline? Can you see
clearly how they will contribute to the research
paper?
Are there any formatting issues? (Font and
size)
Is the file named correctly? (If it is a separate
file from the annotated bibliography)
Is the language clear and concise throughout?
Is the tone academic? Note any parts that you
think are not.
