We are BRYDGE Philippines Inc., a SEC-registered organization that aims to develop the potentials and
competencies of students in numerous fields through skills development and industry-relevant training abroad.
As our name stands for Better Road for Youth Development and Gainful Employment, we believe that
students deserve a fair chance at developing their skills in top establishments in the world.
Our Chairman, Dr. Ignacio S. Pablo, is an esteemed educator, leader, and widely recognized authority in the
Philippine educational system. With over 50 years of solid experience in the academe, he is the Honorary
Founding President of the Council of Hotel and Restaurant Educators of the Philippines (COHREP), Director
for Associate Members of the Hotel and Restaurant Association of the Philippines (HRAP), Director of
Approtech Asia, Director and Dean Emeritus of the Philippine Institute of Nutrition, Food Science and
Technology (PINFST), and a recognized civic leader for decades in the Rotary Club of Rizal West, District
3830. He envisions a better future for the Filipino youth through gainful employment backed by quality
training under world-class establishments and institutions through the Student Internship Abroad Program
(SIAP) of Universities in the Level 2 category.
For several years now, BRYDGE has been providing Filipino students to only Five (5) Star, world-renowned
resorts and hotels in Thailand for their internship. A few of our partner host establishments are JW Marriott
Phuket Resort & Spa, Le Meridien Phuket Resort & Spa, Movenpick Resort and Spa, Amatara, and The Slate,
located in Phuket, as well as the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen's Park Hotel in Bangkok.
Apart from our Thailand program, we are also expanding our SIAP program to Japan. After meeting
with several Japanese schools and companies, the idea of having Filipino interns was received with high
regard. The idea of the “Japanese way of nurturing and molding” the students through a one (1) year
internship period is very exciting to the Japanese, more so the possibility of these students going back to Japan
after they graduate for regular employment. The Japanese is incredibly supportive of the idea of helping the
Filipino youth achieve gainful employment here and abroad, and are greatly enthused by this opportunity to
