Watch the two clips about language and identity and think about your opinions on how language and identity are linked.

Your task: You’ll create your own debate between a group of 3-4. You need to come up with 3-4 statements that you will debate in your groups for your mini FOA.

You will need to EACH speak and have something to say about each statement. I will listen to you talk in your debate groups next week. You must make your debate last for approximately 5-7 minutes in total.
