Power Electronics Education Electronic Book (PEEEB) HOME ABOUT BOOK1 BOOK2 Power Electronics E-Book1 In this E-Book you have three digital learning tools, Lectures, Tutorials and Computer Labs. Lecture notes are given in pdf format with all circuit diagrams and waveforms. Students need to print out them before following the lectures. Students should listen and follow each lecture (play/stop) to complete their lecture notes in which circuit diagrams, waveforms, equations and key points are described in details. After completing each lecture, students have to follow tutorials to understand the contents of each lecture by solving different questions and examples. Then, they can follow computer Labs and run simulations to analyze power electronic circuits and change the variables such as input voltage and load impedance to find their effects on the performance of the system. There are two sets of simulation files, PLECS and SimPowerSystem which can be run in Matlab/Simulink. In this method of teaching, once you followed all lectures and complete tutorials and computer labs, you have completed your lecture notes. In each chapter, students can access to lecture notes, tutorials and simulation files as well as multimedia files including lectures, tutorials and computer Labs. This E-Book is organized for undergraduate students which covers steady state analysis of power converters and Power Electronics. I would like to thank Dr. Arash Abbas Alizadeh, Dr. Jafar Adabi and Dr. Alireza Nami who have helped me to develop teaching materials. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Table of Contents: Chapter 1: Introduction (file1, file2, file3, file4, file5, file6) Chapter 2: Power Switches (file1, file2, file3, file4, file5, file6, file7) Chapter 3: Diode Rectifiers (file1, file2, file3, file4, file5, file6, file7, file8, file9) Chapter 4: Controlled Rectifiers (file1, file2, file3, file4, file5, file6, file7, file8, file9) Chapter 5: Non-isolated DC-DC Converters (file1, file2, file3, file4, file5, file6) Chapter 6: Non-isolated DC-DC Converters with Real Components (file1, file2, file3, file4, file5) Chapter 7: Isolated DC-DC Converters (file1, file2, file3, file4, file5) Chapter 8: DC-AC Converters (file1, file2, file3, file4, file5, file6)
